Hi,
Gen2
25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.Gen3
7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.Gen3
9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
Sop from eating of the tree man became fearful and found he was naked and this became shameful to him. The fruit of new knowledge was too much for him and his conscience to bear.
Even now we can be falsely self accused.
1Jn3
19And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.20For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

When the Son washes you in his blood you are free indeed.
Thence it is the work of the Holy Spirit to sanctify.
But scruples make men burden themselves. - AuthorPosts
