Do you know anything about Bible Analogies?
For a start, this is taken from part of a conversation:
“If Jesus is the only Son of God – why is he the most beloved (of them!).
Why was David the most beloved … Of his father's sons?
Why was Joseph the most beloved of his father's sons?
Did not the first son of Jacob commit a mortal sin? (Genesis 35:22)
Did not the eldest brother of David commit a mortal sin?
Did not the eldest son of Isaac commit a mortal sin?
Did not the youngest son of Isaac become the most beloved?
Was not the first son of Adam not a murderer and the last son (Seth) the most beloved.
Was not the first Son of God (Adam) a sinner – and the last Son of God a saviour?
And the Sons of Abraham (Ismael and Isaac)”.Please add your input into this Topic, thank you.

There are loads of analogies in Scriptures. It's a vital part of re-enforcing certain aspects as you rightly picked out.
Jesus uses them in many of his speeches. For instance, 'As Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so must the son of Man be lifted up (He was speaking of the manner of HHS death)'
Also, 'As in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah' and 'The sign of Jonah'.Execellent topic.
