hmmm.
You do have to test the spirits.
But you can tell if the spirit you are following is the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit reminds you of the teachings of Jesus and leads you to abide in the Word.July 8, 2008 at 5:23 am#96380chosenoneParticipantNick.
Still no comment by you on the topic of this thread, In your opinion “What must one do to be saved?” Come on, be brave, you are the one so critical of others opinion, yet you won't give us your “Wisdom of scripture” on this topic, we are all waiting with baited breath for your response.Blessings.

Is there any point in showing treasures to those who do not accept the gospel of Jesus is for them?July 22, 2008 at 4:59 am#98565chosenoneParticipantNick.
Jesus words…”I was not commissioned except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” I believe Jesus' words, not yours, is that the “treasures” you speak of?July 22, 2008 at 5:08 am#98568NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Guess where Jesus was sent.
First option to the sons of Israel.July 22, 2008 at 5:09 am#98569chosenoneParticipantNick.
So what “He” said was untrue?July 22, 2008 at 6:28 am#98582NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Yes. He took the gospel there
and his servants continue offering that same gospel everywhere even till now.July 23, 2008 at 12:45 am#98657chosenoneParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 22 2008,18:28) Hi CO,

Jesus' gospel to “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” is not the one preached by Paul to the gentiles.July 24, 2008 at 2:53 am#98800NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
So God has two or three or four or more gospels?nonsense.
There is one gate and one gatekeeper and one flock with one shepherd, one Spirit one baptism and one way.
July 25, 2008 at 4:48 am#98949chosenoneParticipantCetainly not “One eternal Gospel for all”. Not in scripture.

Which scriptures?August 18, 2008 at 6:35 pm#102031Not3in1ParticipantQuote (Not3in1 @ July 05 2008,08:30) The thief on the cross knew what was required for salvation and he wasn't even a believer for very long……. Believe and you will be saved. Those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Everything is else is fine and dandy, it's works or actions, but Jesus did all on the cross. We cannot add to it or take away from it. We just need to believe it, and accept it.

Does faith in the Trinity save us? Is it required for brotherhood in the family or God? Or how about other belief systems here (predestination, preexistence), do we all need to be united in belief to be SAVED?In other words, do we all have to have the same definition of Jesus Christ to be saved or even be a part of the same family of God? What do other's think?

Salvation is entirely in the hands of God, not men.
The way of Christ is written and we are urged to enter that rest.
Can men find the way of Christ when they prefer to follow their own teachings?
Still even if they do not the mercy of God may meet them if they have lived lives of mercyAugust 18, 2008 at 9:51 pm#102064Not3in1ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Aug. 19 2008,09:19) Hi not3,

Hi Nick,Though some believe they have the right to say that if you do not believe their “truth” you are lost.
I'm glad that as you say, my salvation is in the hands of the Lord and not in the hands of man. Praise God!
