Thank you for your advice.

a pure day of rest. after many attempts pretty much boiled down to this: no money spending, no work. that was it. to follow the customary tradition of Sabbath is enough to drive a person mad.
in today’s world you read about many physical and mental conditions due to constant motion of ones body and mind. after all the science and pharmaceuticals once again they are telling people to rest.
New age, Pauline, New testament thinkers have decided that it is no longer needed, for a Sabbath to be on a Sunday, no church plates will be full, who will work the sound board, who will watch the children. Financially it is not good for the church.
It is all in how one loves their all. If you believe you were created by a God and that God gives you a guideline to rest, you would think that they would take it to heart. Logically the creator would know better in how your body is then one self would right? Nah, now man knows best because they have discovered the mysteries. Look @ Hebrews 4.4.
bottom line will it effect your afterlife? it is on ones heart to decide. that is where it all is anyhow.

God’s law in the New Testament
I
You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him alone (Matthew 4:10).
II
Little children, beware of idols (1 John 5:21).
So therefore, being of the race of God, we must not believe that the divinity is like gold, silver, or stone, carved by art and the industry of man (Acts 17:29).III
May the name of God and his doctrine not be blasphemed (1 Timothy 6: 1).
IV
Pray that your escape will not happen in winter, or on a Sabbath day (Matthew 24:20).
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, so the Son of man is also Lord of the Sabbath (Mark 2:27 and 28).
For he said thus somewhere on the seventh day: And God rested from all these works on the seventh day. There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God (Hebrews 4: 4, 9 and 10).
For in him were created all things that are in heaven and on earth (Colossians 1:16).V
Honor your father and mother (Matthew 19:19).
VI
You shall not kill (Romans 13: 9).
VII
You shall not commit adultery (Matthew 19:18).
VIII
You shall not steal (Romans 13: 9).
IX
You shall not speak of false witness (Romans 13: 9).
X
You shall not covet (Romans 7: 7).
God bless

Ignatius is claimed to be the first known Christian writer to argue in favor of Christianity’s replacement of the Sabbath with the Lord’s Day:
