“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

These are three, working together.
1. dragon (satan) He is a spirit. The Devil.
2. the beast (last empire that will come up with the 10 horns – New World Order) Satans last empire designed and guided by him. Full of darkness and a hatred for God.
3. the false prophet. Satans man that him uses, giving all his powers to him. When this man speaks, it is Satan speaking through him.

all three working together, for the same purpose, to go to the kings of the whole world, and gather them to battle of that great day of God almighty.
This shows they have evil intent,
and Satan knows that Christ is returning,
so he is using this beast (with all their military power and might) and the false prophet, with all his miracles and lying wonders, and power also, to get a war happening in Israel (Armegeddon, Meggido is where they gather.) then, he will use them to fight Christ in the sky, but he will decieve them and tell them that aliens are attacking, and men will shoot at Christ, not knowing who he is. This is the great delusion, and all fall into the trap.
Satan wants to take as many down with him as he can, because he knows his time is short.

'The son of perdition' is the spirit son that causes perdition.  
'The false prophet' of Rev.13:11 is Muhammad  –  not the same.

(The 2nd and 3rd Beast) Rev 19:20 And (2nd)the beast was taken, and with him (3rd)the false prophet
that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast,
and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10 And (1st)the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where (2nd)the beast and (3rd)the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The Battle mentioned in Revelation 16:14, is the battle against the “false doctrines” of the devil” who deceived the whole world, including the Kings (supporting the false doctrines).
