Hi WU,
Flesh is born of flesh
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom.Spirit begets Spirit
“..no one can see the reign of God unless he is begotten from above. But the vessels need washing[1 peter 3]

Why would Jesus teach that you have to be first born of a woman when all are?March 22, 2014 at 3:39 am#374468WakeupParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 22 2014,12:14) Hi WU,
Jesus is our example and we are required to follow him
He submitted to God's requirements
Nick.Yes we need to follow Him and His commandments.
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, ***and have washed their robes**, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
There you go; all baptised christians needs to wash their robes, because they were dirty.
Because they were not baptised in the Holy Spirit.March 22, 2014 at 3:47 am#374469WakeupParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 22 2014,14:35) Hi WU,

Nick.Baptism in water is part of the tradition.
Nothing is wrong with that.
We all should be baptised in water.
But that is not the key to be born again.
One can be baptised many times and it will be of no use
if not baptised in the Holy Spirit.Have you been baptised in the Holy Spirit?
Have you got that experience?
Does the HS comes and visit you sometimes?wakeup.

Nick.Washing the outer or the inner?
The inner can not be washed with water,
but with the HS.wakeup.

To be robed in Christ you must obey the command
Gal 3.27
yes those robes need cleansing as we all sin

Experience is not a witness

Mat 7.21

Nick.So what good does it do to be babtised in water?
If one can get dirty again and again?
Do you have to be baptised everytime you commit a sin?
Does it wash your sins away? Or do you ask God to forgive your sins?wakeup.

Hi Nick,Are Angels born of water? No!
Are Angels born of spirit? yes!You have to come through this plane of existence to be born of water.
and
You “MUST” be born of spirit again to be born again, right??God bless

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6)March 22, 2014 at 4:42 am#374482Ed JParticipantHi Nick, For clarity, I will explain how you me and Wakeup see this differently.
Wakeup: Born of water means physical birth, and born of spirit means the Resurrection.
Nick: Born of water is baptism in water, and born of spirit is baptism with God's HolySpirit.
Ed J: Physical birth is born of water and being baptized with God's HolySpirit is born of spirit.Consider this…
“that which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:6)God bless

EdJ.We must be born twice.
1.First birth is out of mother.(flesh).(this is a birth for sure).
2.Second birth is of Mother Zion.(spirit).(this is also a birth).
Two births. Born,—-then—- Born—-Again.Baptism is not a birth. This is a misinterpretation of john 3.
This is *symbolically* the washing of sins.
Sins can not be washed with water.
That would be very convenient,if it can.Jesus had no sins to wash,He just followed the traditional law. But He was born again,in a spirit body.
Born out of Mother Zion's belly.
And His bretherns will also be born again.(spirit).wakeup.

Hi Wakeup,I view the beginning of our physical existence as our “Birth”
And the spiritual baptism of God's HolySpirit as our “Re-Birth”
Resurrection is a continuation of both, not a birth of any kind.Water baptism merely symbolizes death to the flesh.
Resurrection is an undoing of physical death,
which is symbolized by water baptism.God bless
