Matthew 5:6
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Is this a promise of God?
Who does he make this Promise to?
What does he promise?
What does the word righteousness mean in this passage?February 6, 2014 at 10:17 pm#369304terrariccaParticipantALL THE SERMON ON THE MOUNTAIN HAS IS FULFILLMENT IN CHRIST

come to the waters;
and you who have no money,

Come, buy wine and milk

and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Kerwin. Those that has come out of babylon and have dwelleth
in the great city Jerusalem, the city of God.
Those are them that seek for righteousness.
Those are them that have the renewing of the mind.
Those are them that truly hunger for the truth and righteousness.
Those are them that are filled with the Holy spirit.
Those are them that have been eating the flesh of Christ.
Those are them that abstain from eating strange flesh.wakeup.

February 7, 2014 at 7:13 pm#369411kerwinParticipantTo all,
Thank you.
I also believe it is a promise that those whose soul hunger and thirst to be righteous as God is righteous will be filled with a righteousness that is like God's.
It this promise fulfilled by those that adhere to the new covenant?
