Quote (mikeboll64 @ Jan. 02 2013,11:12) Guys, can we really look at Charles Manson, and truthfully say that he is NOT a creation of God? If he is not, then WHO is his Creator? I thought there was but ONE Creator in existence.
I've been studying sociopaths. In the US, 3-5% of men are sociopaths. For women, it's more like 1%. Half of all crimes are committed by sociopaths. Sociopaths, their brains are different from other people. They don't have empathy, or a conscience–not in the way we understand them. They can use/fake empathy, but its not real, as we understand it.There are many genetic markers which create the ability in a person to become a sociopath, but it seems that events have to happen in the persons life (usually childhood treatment) that turns these genes on.
It also seems that once a person is a sociopath, once those switches hav been flipped on, they can't be turned off.
I wonder if someone who literally has no conscience could ever be a Christian.

Charles Manson the psychopath was not created a psychopath. He of course had the genes but they had to be triggered for him to act on them. I have no idea but he was probably abused or hit as a child or yelled at often. He probably had murders in his gene pool. Still, while he Wasn't automatically going to act on his sociopathy, it seems to be largely based on the actions of those who cared for (or didn't care for ) him as a child and in youth.
So, while not created a (acting) psychopath, he was turned into one, and the thing is, it doesn't really seem that sociopaths choose to be such.
There are people who despite having that portion of their brain dark, that indicates sociopathy, and these people got lucky and were raised by loving people. Yet, the parents recognized that person was a psychopath just because they showed no empathy or conscience and acted differently to people. Yet, never torturing animals.
Rather than Charles Manson, you may as well just ask the same question of satan.

And of you do agree, how would this be related to demons?
David,I doubt that physical discipline leads to mental ailments. Abuse may if it prevalent enough to be an environmental factor and if mental disease is a coping mechanism.
I believe such abuse makes it opportune for a demon to subject a child to temptation and once the child sins to give the demon control of the child through the sin.
Illnesses of the spirit are demon possessions though we call them mental illness. Physical ailments are demon oppression. Mankind was created a little lower than the elohim, to which group demons belong. This is how that relationship plays out as regards demons.
Kerwin, lets start with more drastic situations:If I put someone in a room and repeatedly beat them with a stick, do you think that over time, this might mess up their brain?
What if I tell them that I love them and its for their own good? What if I do this for a few years?
How do you think this would affect e persons brain? Do you think it would?

David. If you are born in the jungle and grew up with all the animals, you can not act like a lord.
If You gew up in a house full of abuse you will be alike.
The house would be inhabited by evil spirits.wakeup.
WAKEUP, but, it's the person that is hitting (abusing) the child, not the demons. If you want a child to learn to say thank you, then rather than tell them to do it, do it yourself. Do it often. Monkey see, monkey do.
If you want a child to learn respect, show them respect. If you want a child to listen to you, listen to them. If you want a child to be aggressive or hyperactive, then be aggressive towards them. They do not learn these things unless eh see them often. A child must hear twinkle twinkle many times before they will sing it them self. Similarly, a child must see a behaviour many times before they copy it.
Question: why does the house have to be inhabited by evil spirits? How does an evil spirit get someone to do something?

DavidI agree with you in the case of a child always follow the parent behaviour.
Evil spirits roam around seeking for a place to rest.
And an unhappy home is where he likes to be.Empty buildings, sheds that has not been used for a while, barns, ruines, wells, caves, the woods.
Pubs, night clubs where a lot of blespheming is going on.Churches, where alot of statues are worshipped; temples.
A person that hates God,or is empty spiritually, and he will get worse with time.He will be the spirits temple.(abode).

Lk 15:11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons.
Lk 15:12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
Lk 15:13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living.
Lk 15:14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need.
Lk 15:15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.
Lk 15:16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
Lk 15:17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!
Lk 15:18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
Lk 15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.’
Lk 15:20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
Lk 15:21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
Lk 15:22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
Lk 15:23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.
Lk 15:24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
Lk 15:25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing.
Lk 15:26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on.
Lk 15:27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
Lk 15:28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him.
Lk 15:29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
Lk 15:30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’

I believe it is generally accepted that the young son is a man who had chosen a wicked path, realized the cost of his ways, and returned to the paths of righteousness, even willing to take a lesser position in his Father's house and was rewarded for his repentance as his Father was overjoyed to see him.
This upset the elder brother who remained on the path of righteousness as he believed that his Father treated his sibling better than the later's past action deserved.
The Father explained these things to the elder brother.
I agree with these things. Is their something else you desire to point out?
January 3, 2013 at 2:37 pm#326684kerwinParticipantDavid,
Quote Charles Manson the psychopath was not created a psychopath. He of course had the genes but they had to be triggered for him to act on them. I have no idea but he was probably abused or hit as a child or yelled at often. Psychopath is not a sanctioned diagnosis of any psychiatric or psychological organization. The “syndrome” is included in antisocial personality disorder. Which is said to be genetically based with environmental factor. Both of these are fronts in the war between Satan and his angels and Michael and his angels. Neither one of these factors is ownership by demons.
Parasitic lifestyle is one possible symptom as well as possible evidence of demon ownership. Demon ownership occurs when the desire to live a “parasitic lifestyle” controls the person instead of the person controlling it. The results can look the same just as an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic can both get drunk. The alcoholic is compelled to obey the demon tempting him while the non-alcoholic chooses to do so even even though not compelled.

What you describe is a child being taught a doctrine through negative reinforcement. Doctrines we internalize have effects. The effect would be that the child will believe their interpretation of the adult's doctrine, rebel against that teaching whenever he or she can, or do a mixture of the two. The doctrine the child perceives is said to be an environmental factor.
There may be a response that is physical as well similar to the feedback that comes with smoking cigarettes.

The Lord regretted that he had made humankind on the earth, and he was grieved to his heart. If the way things turned out had been God's plan all along, He would never have REGRETTED doing what He did. He wouldn't have felt “grieved to His heart” about His actions.

Lk 15:31 “ ‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.
Lk 15:32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ ”did you understand it
T,I accept your apologies for accidentally shouting.
Is their something else you desire to point out?
kthis is the story in short ,but what is the application of it ,because Christ never talked for the purpose of saying nothing ,?
T,It has many applications that God reveals when needed. The one that stands out is that a man can waste his spiritual inheritance and then repent and do what God commands and God will celebrate and give them a place in his house.
Klook at this first;
Lk 15:8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
Lk 15:9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’
Lk 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”so you still think what you say is the ultimate understanding of Christ words

T,A woman who hungers and seeks for righteousness and finds it calls all her friends together to celebrate.
Jehovah, who desires all men to be saved, finds one who was lost and so calls those who are not together to celebrate.
The second one it what Jesus was teaching though the parable describes a situation that is like the first.

Kgood but not quite let see more ;
LK 15:4 “ What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
LK 15:5 “When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
LK 15:6 “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’
LK 15:7 “I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.so how is this now

The righteous take more joy in the one that is saved from the flame that from the many who are not in danger of the flame.

Read it again:
Genesis 6:6
The Lord regretted that he had made humankind on the earth, and he was grieved to his heart. If the way things turned out had been God's plan all along, He would never have REGRETTED doing what He did. He wouldn't have felt “grieved to His heart” about His actions.
I agree Mike. When God gives his created beings free will, then he has no control of that will except he sets boundaries.
So it is up to us and hence why we are judged for our actions. Because our actions are chosen by us and are not the result of a predetermined program.

Ktry now to put all those allegory's together and understand the big picture
