In Psalm 110:1 Jehovah told David that His Lord (adon) would sit at His right hand. In verse 5 David replied to Jehovah saying, “My Lord (Adonay) is at your right hand.”
The word “adon” in verse 1 means “lord” or “owner” and may refer to men as well as to God. But the word “adonay” used in verse 5 is from “adon” and is a special form of “adon.” This special form of “adon” ALWAYS refers to God.

Strong's# 136: Adonay emphat form of 113; the Lord (used as a proper name of God ONLY)-(my) Lord.
David acknowledged that the One who was to sit at Jehovah's right hand was his GOD.
The Father Himself concurs with king David's conclusion:

Jesus is at the right hand (vs. 3) and is called “God” by the Father Himself (vs. 8). Christ's human father and His heavenly father agree that He is God at Jehovah's hand.

David,You did not answer the point that David replied to Jehovah saying, “My Adonay is at yor right hand.” The form “adonay ALWAYS refers to god.

And your translation of Hebrews 1:8 is totally out of context. The whole context is about the exaltation of the Son. Why would the apostle exalt Him in the first 7 verses, then knock Him down a notch in verse 8, and then exalt Him again in verse 9?

Then you need to get a Strong's Concordance Nick. Anyway, the TWOT agrees and if you take issue all you need to do is give an example from scripture inwhich Adonay refers to someome other than God.That's not too hard for you Nick.
