Amen terra I do agree with you here,and i may never know if God is with you,but I believe he is as he is with me.

But I don’t test God through finances anymore.I grew up in a a so called faith which said we should be doing greater works than Christ and being rich and successful was the sign of God’s blessing.I’ve come to see these teachers as liars and deceivers-for they can’t prove their great works and miracles which they claim.They do this for money and they do have many scriptures which they use to abuse.If I’m wrong for disagreeing with them let God damn me.

And i apologize if I offended you by disagreeing with you but that verse does touch a chord in me and if you read the whole book of Malachi it is quite pathetic in ways,at least it is to me.Which is actually ok with me now.

I don’t do greater works than Christ and i don’t believe you do either but I accept you for who and what you are and  whatever you believe.

But do I believe I’m blessed? Yes I do and I don’t tithe anymore but give whatever i want when I choose to.

there is a scripture in the gospel of John were christ says it all ;

Jn 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. so if we truly believe this then the money is a part of this world and like paul says if we look for money we are looking for the troubles of the world ,Christ says seek first the kingdom and all other things will given to you,for god knows that we need those thing to live in this world , what is important in our lives is this Jn 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
what this mean is that in all things we do or think or share we must be truthful even if we made mistake and we are the looser we have to respect our word for the truth is the language of God and his son ,and it is by that behavior that you will come to know them better for they will come to you ,this means self control in our actions and tongue ,master them and also master the scriptures ,so that you know what god and his son want us all do in righteous,

those are the first deeds we have to learn and do ,and all people that meet us doing so will see that we are different from all others ,for the glory of our God and his son ,

Jn 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”

God does not ask us to do nothing more for if he want us to do more he will bring knowledge to you through the spirit of truth in you ,but first we have to learn to live by the truth of God ,

But do I believe I’m blessed? Yes I do and I don’t tithe anymore but give whatever i want when I choose to.

in time when you have mastered the scriptures the entire scriptures ,and live by the truth of God you will then live the blessings written in it ,may our common God bless you my friend

Do you see some problem with what I say concerning giving or my mastery of scripture? Malachi teaches tithing by law to give food for priests and God’s house but what does Paul teach?
2Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
That is that we give not because we have to but because we want to and we purpose in our own heart what to give.

And what will God do for us living this way?
2Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
I am not rich financially but not dirt poor either and when i give to the poor I give to God even as St Matt teaches in parable of the judgement in Matt 25.

I don’t pretend to be a master of scripture but I have learned more in the last two years than in many years prior for i no longer fear to read it myself with my own god given brain rather than blindly accepting what others say it is.

IN mALACHI ,the law was still in effect ,at the time of Paul it was not ,new covenant ,

no more temple /priest /

Jn 4:21 Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
Jn 4:22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.
Jn 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Jn 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Mt 24:2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

Do I understand now? that the temple doesn’t apply to Christians? yes I do since there is no temple now,but according to the author of Acts those Jewish christians /apostles didn’t see it as St John said.Apparently they were still without the understanding we have today.But I don’t fault the author of Acts for this since he had no knowledge of John’s gospel,but was trying to create peace in another fashion.

But just what is salvation to you? Is it going to heaven when you die?

salvation is the return to active live in the kingdom of my God for ever and ever ,

Is it going to heaven when you die?

I is not for me to say were i will go ,but where ever God will place me I would be happy for he knows what would make me happy and it does not really matters what matters is to be in the kingdom of God ,

when we die we are without our flesh (body) and so out of commission,so to speak, but at the resurrection God will give us a new body according to his own choice ,but the body either in heaven or on earth will bring us back in action duty ,

you should read the letter to the Roman and the hebrew ,
