“no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation”  (2 Peter 1:20)

    Hi Everyone,

Is that just a fancy way of saying that God's prophets are authentic,
meaning “THEIR PROPHECY” was not given as any private interpretation?
Or is it instead a warning against peoples private interpretation of Prophecy?

    God bless

All prophesies are already written down.
It is a matter of how it is interpreted.

Many have gone out of the way.
Can be corrected by being humble, and read it again.

All scripture must be read in its context.
2 Peter 1:19-21 is the complete passage.
It says we do well to study prophecy, we shouldn't make our own interpretation, that is: let the Bible explain itself. [and I have found, in my intensive study of prophecy, that it does just that – sometimes a bit hard to find!]
Then we are told the prophets spoke as messengers of God.
Problems arise when people believe false theories and unscriptural ideas, then God 'puts them under a spirit of stupor' that makes them unable to perceive the truth. Isaiah 29:9-12, 2 Thess 2:11

    Hi Wakeup,

Warning people about a chip, is a private interpretation of Prophecy,
and you just don't seem to get it. So I figured I would start a thread to talk about
what specifically “no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation” actually means.

    Hi Ed,
The Spirit wrote the words through men
Men need the Spirit to discern the meanings
And let scripture explain using the principle of 2Cor 13.1

    EdJ.

Private interpretation meanst exactly what it says.
Can not be interpreted to own imagination.

But one with the gift can understand prophecy.
And if it is interpreted wrongly;the scriptures can contradict.

All interpretations must be in harmony with scriptures.

But how can one without the knowledge of prophecy
    indentify any wrong interpretation?

How can he be play judge?

    wakeup.

    Edj.

A mark IN the right hand and forehead, that no one can buy and sell.I interpret that as the chip.
If you say that it is not a physical mark; then why dont you
    give us some insight?

You are judging others, but you are yourself adding NUMBERS to prophesies;and also adding sharya to it.What do you call that?

    Hi Wakeup,

    1) I didn't think you understood what the verse means considering you are giving us your private interpretation of Prophecy

    2) So you believe that “the gift of prophecy” means to interpret prophecy rather than to give Prophecy?        (<– please address this)

    OK Wakeup,

It means one cannot buy or sell religious material without the mark of the beast, which is Islam.

    Cannot buy or sell anything.
You will starve, and then take the mark anyway.
He who saves his life shall loose it.
The ten horned beast's greatest power is not his weapons,
    but his mark.

    No, not food.
The war will be over the destruction of the dome.
The coming into israel is for the destruction of the dome, and the rebuilding of the third temple.
Which is the abomination of desolation.

The false prophet will make that his temple, where he sits
as God, and calling himself god.

    The mark controls all people.
A test for the luke warm christians also.

The beast that *WILL* come out of the earth,
is the false prophet coming with great lying wonders.
He will sit in the temple of God calling himself god.

Some more insight about the temple of God.
The jewish temple was always the temple of God.
The third temple will be build by the jews for God,
but the false prophet will make it his.

This becomes the abomination of desolation.
Spiritually desolate, and physically desolate, by the war.
No flesh shall be saved if not shortened. How the war will be shortened in an instant, is by the appearing of the Lord in the clouds.

Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
***and the abomination that maketh desolate *set up*, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,

    ***stand in the holy place***,
    (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

The dome was set up hundreds of years ago Ed.
    Jesus said: when you see it stand in the holy place;
then flee. Daniel and matt.24 is about the last days.
