I have decided to create a discussion about pride, what it is, and how is it manifest.
I have read some interesting text in a book recently that talks about pride. I will quote them when I have the time.
In the meantime, feel free to contribute.

Psalm 10:4
In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.Psalm 31:18
Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.Proverbs 8:13
To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.Isaiah 2:17
The arrogance of man will be brought low and the pride of men humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that dayFebruary 25, 2009 at 1:15 am#122953942767ParticipantQuote Pro 16:18 Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. What they really meant was it was prideful to question the Bible.
Hmmm
Hey Marty, will I come into destruction and fall because I question the bible? What do you think?
Am I stinking with pride? Can you smell me from where your sitting?
Really, friends tell eachother these things.February 25, 2009 at 2:24 am#122963942767ParticipantQuote (Not3in1 @ Feb. 25 2009,12:52) I was just recently told that it is pride to question God. What they really meant was it was prideful to question the Bible.

Hi Mandy:If the bible is God's Word, and I know that it is, I would think that you would go to Him in prayer and ask Him if He said what has been written, and also, if you wanted understanding of a scripture or scriptures.
If someone told me that you said something, I would go to you and ask you since you supposedly are the source of what has been said.
I would rather tell you that God is a reality and that He loves you and has given His Only Begotten Son to be the propitiation for your sins, and through what has done for us in him none of us have to be destroyed.
I believe that you should question anything that you do not understand, and if you have a question about the anything that is written in the bible, I will be happy to give you my understanding, and if that does not answer your question, you should go to God and ask Him to answer your question.
Pride =arrogance = overbearing opinion of one's superiority. I don't believe that I see this in you.
Love in Christ,
