Gene, it is clear that if the Father resides in Jesus us via his Spirit and Jesus can be in us too. Further, we can be one with each other in unity of spirit, then is that to be taken that Jesus is a mere shell body for God. Just as Adam was one with his wife, Eve was not a shell that Adam dwelled in and controlled. You need to look into what it really means when God is in us and in Jesus and we in them.
You mention intellect a lot, but where is your intellect in this matter?
October 20, 2018 at 4:05 pm#835004The Word’s WatchmanParticipantGod’s Word is an expression of himself. He’s not some single entity that can can be perceived or grasped with the five senses. He uses Words to express who He is so we can understand, he also uses His creation as a teaching ground. He’s in His creation, He’s in His Word but He is not those things himself. Jesus is the expression of who God is manifested in the flesh, ie His image/likeness/character, in the five senses realm so we could absolutely know and understand His unfathomable Love. We see God’s expression of Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. We understand this through the written pages of the bible which contains words.
We have Christ in us, which means the anointing in us, not Jesus in us. Christ is the title given to him as the anointed one of God. When you get born again and get that gift of holy spirit, you too are anointed. How do you get born again? By hearing the Word and believing. His Word which is spirit (life giving), is from God who is Spirit.
Rev 19:13 And he (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
October 20, 2018 at 4:43 pm#835005NickHassanParticipantHi WW,
Acts 16.30
After he brought them out he said
’Sirs. What must I do to be saved?’
And they said
‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household’
And they spoke the word of the Lord to them together with all who were in his house.
And they took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptised,
But you teach another gospel where baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is not necessary?
he and all his household

The Word, and translations.
As copies of manuscripts have been collected over the years, they have formed two groups.
True Path – The ‘Majority Text’ makes up 95% of 5,300+ existing manuscripts that are in agreement and form the basis for the Textus Receptus which is also called the ‘Received Text’ or ‘Byzantine Text’.The Textus Receptus is the text which the King James translators used.
Corrupt Path – The ‘Minority Text’ consists of only 5% of existing manuscripts. The main texts, Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, contradict each other over 3,000 times in the gospels alone, and they disagree with the ‘Majority Text’ in 13,000 places.
Amazingly, modern Bible versions like the NIV and ESV are based on these ‘Minority Text’ manuscripts.
Sinaiticus and Vaticanus were written from 300-400 A.D., so because they’re ‘ancient’, modern Bible translators mistakenly think that they must be better.
But the Textus Receptus agrees with the earliest versions of the Bible: Peshitta (AD150) Old Latin Vulgate (AD157), the Italic Bible (AD157) etc. These Bibles were produced some 200 years before the Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.
God had His Words translated into the English language, so that it could spread around the world.
Because of its purity, the TR was used by all the Protestant Reformers of Europe to make their translations.- John Wycliffe’s Translation (1380-82) was the first manuscript (hand-written) Bible in the English language. 21 years after he died, the RCC dug him up, tried him for heresy, found guilty, they burned his ashes.
- Martin Luther translated it into German, giving Germany the Word of God.
- In 1534 John Calvin helped it get translated into French.
- William Tyndale’s New Testament (1526) was the first printed English Bible.
The Roman Catholic Church hated him and his TR-based Bible so much, that they burned him at the stake.
God used the printing press and the English Bible to save millions of people.
The printing press allowed people to read the Word of God for the first time, and the Protestant Reformers discovered the pure gospel of Jesus Christ. You can compare Bible translations from both sides and see that the Sinaiticus and Vaticanusis is corrupt. The NIV and ESV,and other translations they omit words, whole sentences, ect. ect. God bless.
October 20, 2018 at 11:48 pm#835007AnthonyParticipantHi All
The Roman Catholic Church created a “counter-reformation” plan.
At the Council of Trent in 1559, they put the new Bibles on the “Forbidden Book” list, punishable by death.
And it empowered the Jesuits, the Roman Catholic Church army, to go destroy all that oppose them. Their mission is to bring the Protestant Church back to the Mother church, and to destroy those who oppose.
Millions of ‘heretics’, mostly Christians, were tortured and killed during the Inquisition.
Part of their counter-reformation plan was to rewrite the Greek Bible and then English Bibles.
Satan countered by having unbelieving heretics, Westcott and Hort(WH), create a Greek New Testament in 1811, based on the corrupt Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, which removed many words that validate Jesus’ deity.
They called the Textus Receptus ‘vile’ and refused to believe that God preserved His holy words. So they set out to create their own Greek text, based on their beliefs and philosophy.
Their Greek New Testament has 5,337 deletions as compared to the Textus Receptus Greek.
Satan then had Westcott and Hort help create the 1815 English Revised Version Bible. The NIV, ESV and other modern Bibles are built on this corrupt foundation, which is why they’re missing many words that validate Jesus’ deity.
Then they created the Nestle-Aland (NA) and the United Bible Societies(UBS) Greek New Testaments, which are based on the Westcott-Hort Greek Text.
The Nestle-Aland(NA) Greek N.T. is the basis for nearly every modern Bible translation, including the NIV and ESV.It has 8,000 differences from the Textus Receptus, which explains why the modern Bible versions are missing so many words and verses. (i.e. The NIV has 64,576 fewer words than the King James.)
God bless.

In Matthew 8:29, does your Bible remove that the demons called Jesus by name, identifying Him as the Son of God?
“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”In Matthew 25:13, does your Bible remove the text that speaks of Jesus return?
“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh“In Luke, does your Bible imply that Joseph is the biological father of Jesus?
In Luke 2:43, the KJ shows that Joseph is not Jesus biological father when it says “Joseph and his(Jesus) mother”, which is peculiar and implies a separation. By replacing the text with “his parents”, it implies that Joseph is his father.“And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his motherknew not of it.”
In Luke 2:33, does your Bible imply that Joseph is the father of Jesus, which removes the virgin birth?
“And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him.”In Luke 11:2-4, does your Bible remove important words in the Lord’s Prayer, including delivering us from Satan’s evil?
“And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”In Luke 9:56, does your Bible that Jesus came to Earth to save men’s lives?
“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. “In Luke 23:42, does your Bible the removed the thief’s profession of faith in Jesus as Lord?
Because the thief on the cross professed that Jesus was Lord (God), he was saved.
“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”In Acts 8:37, does your Bible have this verse where the Ethiopian Eunich professed his faith in Jesus Christ as God?
“And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”In Romans 14:10, does your Bible remove another proof-text that Jesus is God, and that Jesus will be our judge?
“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.“In 1 Corinthians 15:47 does your Bible remove the title of ‘Lord’ from Jesus, the second man; removing His deity.
The first man is Adam, the second man is the Lord Jesus.
“The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”In Galations 4:7, does your Bible remove that we are heirs of God ‘through Christ’?
“Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”In Ephesians 3:9, does your Bible remove Jesus as the creator, which confirms that He is eternal and equal to God?
“And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.”In Phillipians 4:13, does your Bible remove the source of our power, ‘Christ’?
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”In Colossians 1:14, does your Bible remove Jesus blood as our redemption for forgiveness of sins?
“In whom we have redemption through His blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins“In 1 Timothy 3:16, does your Bible remove the statement that God was manifest in the flesh in Jesus?
This links God to all the things that Jesus accomplished on Earth, thereby equating Jesus with God in the flesh. We all appear in a body, so there’s nothing great about that. But God manifesting Himself in the flesh, that’s supernatural.“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory“
In John 16:16, does your Bible remove that Jesus was going to be with the Father, which verifies that He is God?
“A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me,because I go to the Father.”In Revelation 1:11, does your Bible remove Jesus title of ‘Alpha and Omega, the first and the last’, meaning eternal?
“Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches“Did the modern Bible versions take away all of the words and verses that validate Jesus deity?
Of course not, that would be too obvious. But God warned us not to take away any words.
Every validation of Jesus deity is a witness to us and to the lost world. So to say that it’s okay to remove some, because those same truths are found elsewhere in the Bible, is a wrong approach.

October 21, 2018 at 12:53 am#835010The Word’s WatchmanParticipantNick,
Not sure how you were able to imply anything contrary to baptism from what I wrote, but your antagonism is noted.
Anthony,
There’s over 1800 errors in KJV; words have been added to the text to deify Jesus. This isn’t hidden knowledge anymore. I’m sure if you Google scriptures added and/or changed to the Bible it be easy to see. (Johannine Comma, Matt 28:19, 1 Timothy 3:16, many more)
Allow me to further explain the fallacy people make when interpreting the first chapter of John. Most people come to conclusions based on deductive reasoning. If all you had was John 1:1-14 then you could conclude that Jesus is God. But we have more text than that. The fallacy made is a mathematical axiom that goes like this.
Jesus = Word
God = Word
therefore Jesus = God
Yes they are both the “word”, but they are not each other. People use this reasoning only having only parts of the whole. Let me give you another example and you can see where the logic falls apart.
Apple = fruit
Banana = fruit
therefore Apple = Banana
Yes they are both “fruit”, but they are not each other.
The writer of the gospel also gives us an illustration within the text of using the same word to give different meanings. The word “word” in John 1:1&14 can have more than one meaning. Just like John 1:10, the word “world” has more than one meaning.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
The word “world” speaks of the created world, and the people of the world. Same word just different meanings.

For one I send that post for those using the ESV translation. I know this isn’t anything new, thanks for telling me. secondly I also believe that the Father and Son are separate people.yes tww I also know that the word world as different meanings, thaath for filling me.(also Age). but beside all that, that book you recommended “when Jesus became God” I read the book” it was a good book, thanks . Have you read any of the lost world books? If so what do you think about them? Anyways thanks for a response to my post. God bless.

But we have more text than that. The fallacy made is a mathematical axiom that goes like this.
Jesus = Word
God = Word
therefore Jesus = God . I agree to that.
Yes they are both the “word”, but they are not each other. People use this reasoning only having only parts of the whole. And I agree to that too. (They are not each other)
To you see that one had a beginning and one didn’t? Therefore we know that God the Father had no beginning He is eternal. So the Son had a beginning, and this beginning was before anything was created.we know that The Son wasn’t created and everything was created through Him and by Him and for Him. Therefore if we know that He wasn’t created.and scriptures say He was the first born of creation, therefore He was birth by His Father before all creation, He’s a God because His Father is God and He has the Father’s nature . He Jesus is one person, one nature and one will. All from His Father which is greater then His Son.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word(God the Son), and the Word was with God (God the Father)and the Word was God (God the Son)October 21, 2018 at 8:08 pm#835022ProclaimerParticipantAnthony, I do agree with some of your last post, but not all.
If Jesus is the son of God, then is the father, the Father of God?
No because the Father is God and the son is OF God.
Likewise, we can be sons too and participate in divine nature. That doesn’t make us God even though we can participate in God’s nature, it makes us sons of God.
Jesus is the prototype son, the one whom we are modelled after.
Many are they that deny the son. Not saying you are doing that, but many do it by confession, doctrine, or unbelief.
October 21, 2018 at 11:33 pm#835023AnthonyParticipantHi T8 1. Jesus is the son of God, then is the father, the Father of God? 2. No because the Father is God and the son is OF God. Question 1. No. Jesus had a beginning the Father is eternal therefore it would be in possible for the Father to be from Jesus. Like you are from your Father he’s not from you, your a human because your Father is. Jesus is a God because his Father is a God.
Question 2. You said: “the Son is of God”. I would say “the Son came out of God”. The only begotten Son, one of a kind, (unique) . We won’t be like Him till after the resurrection God bless
October 22, 2018 at 1:33 am#835024The Word’s WatchmanParticipantJesus began at his birth. Jesus the first born of all creation – you have to know Jesus wasn’t BORN before all creation. Adam was the first man and Abel was his first son. Maybe this BORN before all creation means something else? In fact it does, he is the first born of the new creation. The holy spirit, this new man, the Christ in you, is created in you. Jesus is the first to rise from the dead to die no more.
Eph_2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Eph_4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Col_3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Eph 3:8 To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given so that I might proclaim to the gentiles the immeasurable wealth of the Messiah
Eph 3:9 and help everyone see how this secret that has been at work was hidden for ages by God, who created all things.Anthony,
To answer your question, no I have never heard of the lost world books. Unless you are talking about Jurassic Park, then I’ve seen the movies.
October 22, 2018 at 10:08 pm#835060ProclaimerParticipantHi Anthony, it seems from reading your last post that we agree on a lot of things, although the post was hard to read as it seemed to out of order somewhat.
When I talk about my father in a spiritual sense, I am talking of the Father, not my earthly daddy. So we can be born from above in new birth and become a son of God. Like Jesus too, but of course, not like Jesus in that he is the first and is above all, except of course he is not above the Father of all.
October 22, 2018 at 11:33 pm#835061AnthonyParticipantHi t8
My point about Jesus’s Father and your Father, is that you was born from your Father and your a human. Jesus was born of His Father and He’s a God. God bless.

October 23, 2018 at 12:03 pm#835077The Word’s WatchmanParticipantHi Anthony,
If Col 1:15 is interpreted plainly how it’s written in KJV, then I would understand this that Jesus is the first to be born of every creature.
Are you implying that Jesus was born before all creation? What do you think being born means? How could he be born before creation? To be born means to come through the womb of a woman, doesn’t it. Do you think he was born before creation?
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
Could Col 1:15 better be understood that he is the firstborn of God over His creation?
October 23, 2018 at 12:45 pm#835080AnthonyParticipantHi tww
Yes I do think that He was born before creation. God can do as He pleases. If Jesus wasn’t created and He’s the first born. How else ? Jesus came out of the Father in a miraculous way. He can do that,He’s God. He birth you in to His family, and you’ll be just like Him and His only Begotten Son after the resurrection. do you find this all unclear it should because it is. miraculous things seem to baffle us. Scriptures said’s so, first born of all creation. God bless.
