Hi Mike,The anointing is the anointing that made Jesus “Christ”
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
HolySpirit and with power: who went about doing good, and
healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. This word “WITH” here: is not used the same way we would use the word
with, “AS IN FAVOR OF”; but like we would use the words “to accompany”.
Which is precisely the meanings 2Cor.5:19 and John 1:14(Jesus baptism).God bless

(Col. 1:26-28) “The mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations,
but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is
the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you,
the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every
man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:”
What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? (1 Cor 14:36)Glory(77) = Christ(77)
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father (John 1:14)
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)The Word of the oath, which was since the law,
maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. (Hebrews 7:28)1Pet.1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by “The Word” of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.Of his own will begat he us with “The Word” of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. (James 1:18)God bless

We are clothed WITH CHRIST in baptism[Gal 3.27]A far more difficult process is that of CHRIST being FORMED IN US.[Gal 4.19]
You must be transformed by renewal of your heart and mind.

You should tell that to God's angel and Simeon. Nothing you just posted changes anything.
1 Chronicles 16
12 Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
13 O descendants of Israel his servant,
O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.19 When they were but few in number,
few indeed, and strangers in it,
20 they wandered from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another.
21 He allowed no man to oppress them;
for their sake he rebuked kings:
22 “Do not touch my anointed ones;
do my prophets no harm.”
I don't recall the entire nation of Israel being anointed with oil (or Holy Spirit for that matter). But notice that David calls them first “chosen ones”, and then “anointed ones”.
I still believe the real anointing is the setting apart by God for a specific purpose. The pouring on of the oil is to make a declaration of that anointing.

Hi Nick,Eph.4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect
man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Hi MB,
No.The first reference is to the nation.
The second is to the anointed prophetsMarch 23, 2012 at 2:48 am#286945Ed JParticipantHi Mike,
There is a BIG difference between being an anointed one of God,
and being “The Christ”; did you not know there was a difference?God bless

Hi Ed,
Yes we must obey the command and then submit to the transformation work of God in us. Unity should be the result but how can that be when you bring in your numbers and KJV ads as well as truth?March 23, 2012 at 11:24 am#287056Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 23 2012,14:10) Hi Ed,

hiwho his the house of Israel
on whom the spirit of God will be poured out ,is it not the spiritual oneMarch 23, 2012 at 10:49 pm#287119NickHassanParticipantHi T,
If it was spiritual then the Spirit would already have been poured out. After the day of the Lord God will pour out His Spirit on all mankind.[Jl 2]

No. The word “christ” means anointed one, and is used of many people in scripture – not just Jesus.Show me the difference.

The verse I quoted speaks of the Exodus. It speaks of the Israelites before they arrived at Canaan. I don't recall reading that they were all anointed. In fact, I recall Moses having the Holy Spirit, and God taking from his and putting it on 70 elders. That doesn't seem to me like they were all anointed – but 70 plus Moses, Aaron and his sons.
Ezekiel was written much later, and the verse you quoted refers to a future event.

Perhaps, Nick. But how do you know this? Is there scripture that speaks of any prophet being anointed with oil or Holy Spirit?March 23, 2012 at 11:21 pm#287127NickHassanParticipantHi MB
Yes David, the king and prophet was anointed as in 1 Samuel 16:1313 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

Joel 2:28 “And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Joel 2:29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
Joel 2:30 I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Joel 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to bloodAc 2:16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
Ac 2:17 “ ‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Ac 2:18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Ac 2:19 I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Ac 2:20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood

Hi Mike,Saul and David were God's anointed, but did NOT have
the ability to HEAL people; as did Jesus, “The Christ”.Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
HolySpirit and with power: who went about doing good, and
healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was [IN] him. (2Cor.5:19, John1:14)Oops, I hope Jammin doesn't read this, or he may say “Christ” healer.
God bless
