Good, because you won't do it by posting unrelated and unscriptural things. Now, did Simeon see God's Christ when that Christ was only 8 days old or not? What does the scripture clearly say?

Hi Mike,You asking me the same question over and over is not going to change my answer. (sixth post Here)
I gave you the biblical principal in Romans 4:17, which explains the reason, why do you glaze over this FACT?
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God,
who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.Just because Jesus became “the Christ” at his baptism in the Jordan river,
does not mean he cannot be called “Christ” before this event.Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the HolySpirit and with power: who went about
doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
When did God ANOINT Jesus of Nazareth with the HolySpirit, Mike?God bless

davidParticipantMy thoughts are that “Christ” means “annointed one.” When was he annointed? I take this to mean annointed with holy spirit? but what do I know. I almost always spell annointed wrong.

ParticipantHi MB,
If you are sure that Jesus was already been anointed by his birth you should be able to show early evidence of God's Power in him.
Because he is called the Christ at birth is that what you believe?

Hi Pierre,At the age of twelve a boy can begin to make decisions
with the consolation of the older male family members. At the age of thirty, a man is considered fully mature and
can make all their decisions completely independent of family.I hope this adequately answers your question.

I can only tell you what the scriptures tell me. And I'm only so sure he was God's Christ at birth because that's what the scriptures say.
What do you want me to do? Ignore them like some of you guys do?

edjand you forget Rom 4;18
Ro 4:17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
Ro 4:18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”March 10, 2012 at 9:44 pm#284060NickHassan

You like to be surrounded by what you think is certainty?
So did the pharisees and they wanted to kill Jesus because of his spiritual words.
Taking what is spiritual and reading it through theological eyes can never lead to true understanding.March 10, 2012 at 9:46 pm#284062NickHassan

ProclaimerParticipantObviously not all know the answer to what Jesus said here.
“my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going”.I think we can all agree where he is now. That is, in the glory of God, at his right hand side, and also seated with the Father on his throne.
Now think what these words of Jesus mean and think what you are really doing by trying to refute what Jesus said in the next quoted verse:
“And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.”.
See that. He is in Heaven in the glory of God and Jesus asked to return to that glory he had before the world. Jesus was right when he said to the Pharisees “But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going”.
It is well known that not all believe in Jesus own testimony and thus reject the one whom he sent by not believing the testimony of the son. This is not surprising one bit of course and this will continue even till the end of this age, just as there will be Pharisees denying who Jesus really is, even to the end of this age.
