    Hi T,
You draw distinctions when scripture does not.
    Why is this?

    Hi Frank,
That which is born of the flesh is FLESH, and that which is born of the spirit is SPIRIT (John 3:6).

Indeed Jesus WAS BORN OF FLESH.

Why do men think this related to his being the Christ?
He was nopt anointed till the Jordan

    N

born of flesh from a man and a woman ????

or just came out of the flesh ???

    terraricca,

Did you just not ask Nick the following question:

“WAS THAT MAN A NATURAL MAN BORN OF MAN?”

Were you asking this because you did not know or because you doubted this?

    Nick,

Just to make it clear, I do not believe that Yahshua being born of the flesh is related directly to his being anointed by his and our Father Yahweh to be our King and High Priest.

Maybe some believe that “Christ” is their “Jesus'” last name? :D

WAS THAT MAN A NATURAL MAN BORN OF MAN?????

    terraricca,

    Yes, of course!

Was not Yahshua born of a woMAN?

“The spiritual body does not come first, but second. The fleshly body comes first and only later comes the spiritual body (1 Cor. 15:46). Yahshua was 100% man. Any who deny this is anti-messiah (1 John 2:2,3; 2 John 7). That which is born of the flesh is FLESH, and that which is born of the spirit is SPIRIT (John 3:6). Man which is born of woman must remain flesh until the resurrection. Yahshua was born of woman, so he was only a physical MAN – a man filled with the spirit OF Yahweh, true, but still only man – flesh (Heb. 5:7). He became a spiritual being only later – at his resurrection from the dead (1 Cor. 15:44; 20-23).”

    terraricca,

I question whether Yahshua was born of a virgin. I personally believe Yahshua being born of a virgin to be a false doctrine. I have a web page with links to diverse views on this matter. I am more in agreement with the very first link:

    Nick,

The foundation of what it is that I believe is on what Scripture teaches. I also do not believe that Scripture translations are without error. In other words, I am not an inerrantist.

So you CANNOT show that God calls Himself a person?
    Case closed.

I cannot show where anyone calls Jesus a person either.  Okay Nick, Jesus was not a person.  Case closed!   :D    :D

Get a grip, Nick.  Does God have a personality?  YES or NO?

    Hi Mike,

You are applying the answer to one question
to a different question again; IT DOESN'T WORK!

“God is not a man” (Numbers 23:19)
    Jesus is a man (John 9:11 / 1Tm.2:15)

    Hi MB,
You made the statement about God being a PERSON.
We do not have to prove it wrong.

You prove it right-without a dictionary.

    Hi Nick:

    Is a soul a person?

God makes reference to his “soul” here:

    Quote
Lev 26:30   And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

And in the following verse the scripture states that Jesus Christ is the express image of “His Person”.

    Quote
Hbr 1:1 ¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    Hbr 1:2   Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

    Hbr 1:3   Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

    Love in Christ,

So then you can't say for sure whether or not Abraham was a person, Nick? Or Samuel? Or King David?

Seems a little odd, don't you think? Are you taking things to extremes here to avoid the rock and the hard place?
