I'd like us to discuss the concept of power eluded to in several passages:
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (2Pet.1:3-4 NIV)
his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. (Eph.1:19-21 NIV)
Can we discuss it from three approaches:
1) Is it limited in some way?
2) How have you experienced it in your life?
3) What are we to accomplish by using it?
