Our thoughts are in disaray,
We focus on our lot
With no sense of order in our day,
Just so much thought to plough through,
That we lose You.

I just want to be
Where You are
Dwelling daily in Your presence,
I don't want to dwell
From You afar
I just want to be where You are.

In Your presence,

In Your realm that's where

In Your prsence
And not focus on our lot,

So that we may create order in our day.

Self Destruction

Lord Jesus my motivation for you has not been born
I am drifting in a world of thought,
Spinning and weaving a carpet of thoughts,
Thoughts that clash ——— disembody themselves,
Thoughts that brainwash themselves ——— on good times.

I spin and weave pictures of old.
Countless times their actions have been told
Which I think is unique,

My blind eye only sees the untruth.

One Perfect Life

Striving after the perfect lives is a figment
There are no perfect lives but one
Where the Lord Jesus is hailed as the perfect One
Who brings strife to an end ——
Gives you a choice between good and bad ——
Reclaims you as His own.

We look at lives and wish we were them
That our name should be in glitter and print.
We praise material objects
As a collective we will them to be there
By games of skill and flattery
Names of fame we wish to be

Living with the belief of cloning the perfect One —–
Molding your life in the belief of God —–
Throwing jealousy, anger and self gain into the abyss —–

Lord of life, giver of Light

At Peace

The cliffs rise to mighty lofts,
What am I? a mere speck standing on the lip,
Down far below, the valley stretches and the trees sway
Sheltering a host of animals who neither want too much or to little.
And who am away to take it all away in the name of progress
Leaving a humble valley noisy and dirty

I leave the valley peaceful as it is
Tune my mind to the rhythm of its life
I join and clap my hands to the beat of its song.
Me a mere breath has no right to devast a natural life,
My ego has no need for growth, my domineering power has subsided.
I leave the valley rested and at peace with myself.

how right you are, it seems the whole World is in an uproar.
If it isn't violence it is sex. T.V. shows are all about Washington and Politics.
Keep running the good race we are almost at the end. Jesus will say good job my Faithful Servant.
