[He’s Coming in the Clouds]

Would anyone be interested in a Poetry Thread?

Due to lack of interest (only 4 people voted) I think we should erase this thread just to clear up some space. I find there are a lot of threads on here and it is making it harder and harder to find things.

Ground rules should be placed.

Instant poetry is written in the now
And should be labeled as 'instant'.

Thoughtful poetry is written in the past
And should be labeled as 'past'.

Our thoughts should be Godly and worshipful
I am sure our God would want to hear praises
                         and not just debates.

Gods Spirit has touched us
To be searchers
To be believers
To be teachers
To be encouragers
Etc. etc.
And to be worshipers.

Ken was a joker and I kind of miss Him, even tho He gave me a hard time. As far as poetry is concerned I have no talent in that area. But I can always put down Songs. The lyrics are half way poetry. And a good source of worship.

We are all worshippers by hreart

I read this song while hearing the “2nd Chapter of Acts” singing it in my head.  They were a group back in the 70's/80's during the Jesus movement.  Great band.  They were popular along with Keith Green (another fav of mine).

Hi Mandy! Since you love to sing, I have an idea. Please join us and it is mainly Kathi (Lightenup)and myself on the Ventrilo Server. It is no big deal, really. Easy to setup. Mandy you would really make an old lady happy since I too love to sing. We could sing together, would that be nice. My voice is not as nice as it was 20 years ago, but I still am recognizable. Here is a Song for you, I think I put it down before, but I just love this song.
