    Feast of Booths

Jesus is coming with sword and a blood stained garment.

    He is on war path.
    And this is a feast?
    Only the animals were invited.
To eat flesh of kings and captains, and mighty men.

Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice,
***saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven***, ***Come and gather yourselves together***
    ***unto the supper of the great God***;

    Revelation 19:18
***That ye may eat the flesh of kings***,
    ***and the flesh of captains***,
***and the flesh of mighty men***,
    ***and the flesh of horses***,
***and of them that sit on them***,
***and the flesh of all men***,
***both free and bond, both small and great***.

Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

This is war; not a feast.
    This is the second coming.(armageddon).

    Hi Wakeup,

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye
eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood,
ye have no life in you.”  (John 6:53)

The words spoken by Jesus is literal.
The eating of His flesh is also literal.

But we could not comprehend the words spoken.
We see Jesus flesh; as carnal flesh.
    Not as spirit flesh.
The words in the scriptures contains spirit; a power.
And that power (spirit) is His flesh.
    But this is another topic.

The flesh of kings and captains are physical flesh,
for the BIRDS to eat. (the carnivores).

…it sounds like you are actually agreeing with what I have said,
but are working really really hard to avoid saying that you actually agree with me?

                                 WHY IS THAT?

…oh yes it is for the reason you want Rev. 19 to be physical
rather than spiritual like Jesus words of eating his flesh and drinking his blood.

So then you then agree Jesus' words are spiritual rather than physical.
Good!  …now apply a spiritual meaning to Rev. Chapter 19 and you'll have it.

The horse is an UNCLEAN animal, God would not have us eat horse meat at his feast.

Are we fowls that fly in the mids of heaven?

Yes, that is what the scripture states Ed, but that refers to his coming for the church, not to Pentecost.

As I have stated he did not come himself at Pentecost, he sent the promise of the Father to His disciples.

And indeed, the life that he lived and lives defines who he is, and that is his spirit. He stated as you have stated: “the words that I speak are spirit and they are life”, but that written in the bible in red is what he spoke, and what he obeyed, and that spirit never left us when he ascended into heaven to his position as head of the church at the right hand of the Father. He said “if you love me keep my commandments”.

He appeared to us phyically a frist time, and he will come again for the church. He said “in my Fathers house are many mansions…” Let me just post the scripture:

    Quote
    Jhn 14:2
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

    Jhn 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

This is second coming not Pentecost.

    Love in Christ,

And then the scripture that you posted support your doctrine:

    Quote
    Heb 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

    Heb 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

This second coming will be one of judgment upon the those that did not receive the Word, and therefore, the Word will judge them, he said in the last day.

    Quote
    Jhn 12:46
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

    Jhn 12:47
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

    Jhn 12:48
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

    Jhn 12:49
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

    Jhn 12:50
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

    This was the first coming:

    Quote
    Jhn 12:47
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

And I am guessing that maybe you are misunderstanding the following scripture to mean that since his resurrection, he can no longer be tempted and sin? He won't, we know that, but as long as the devil is still loose and has not been bound up or destroyed, he will try to tempt us to sin.

The scripture states that since his resurrection. “death” has not more dominion over him”.

    Quote
    Rom 6:9
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Stating what you believe is not evidence for what you believe.
    I have presented you with much evidence for my view;
