    Hi T,
    Dan7
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

    Hi Ed,

Hi Nick, (Matt.24:1-25:13) No mention of 3.5 years here?

“Pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day”

This part is evidence that it happens to people at different times.

    Your brother
    in Christ, Jesus.

    Hi ED,
The flight of the jewish people is not of the great tribulation.

    Hi Ed,
The flight of the people in Judea [mt 24.16]is one of the harbingers of the great tribulation after the abomination of desolation.[mt24.15]
It is just before the great tribulation [mt 24.20]and before the COMING of the Son of man.[mt 24.27]
Then there will be the signs in the heavens[mt 24.29]and when the glorious Son of man is SEEN, the gathering of the elect.[mt 24.31]

    Hi ED,
Lk 21 20 adds before the instructions to flee
“When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies then recognise that her desolation is near”

    Hi Ed,
The suffering of the jewish people is at the hand of man as usual but the world crisis affects all by the changes in the earth and the heavens.[Is 24]

    Hi Nick,

1 Thess 3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before
that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

    Hi ED,
Indeed the word tribulation is used in may different ways in scripture.[acts 14.22]
But on reflection you are right in that the great tribulation refers to the suffering of the jewish people spoken of in Mt 24.

It is good to link the three and a half year period to align scripture.

    To all;

    Some Scriptures to consider:

    Matthew 16:28
    King James Version (KJV)

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

    Mark 9:1
    King James Version (KJV)

9 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

    Luke 9:27
    King James Version (KJV)

27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

    Hi Kerwin,

Many overlook those verses – in their zeal to
affix 3-1/2 years to their calendar as calendar markers.
Like a women giving birth, it doesn't happen to everyone all at once.

    Hi Nick,

Where and how does Matt 24:20 fit into your scheme?

“Pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the sabbath day” (Matt 24:20)

If the time scheme was affixed, as the proponents propose,
then it would render  Matt 24:20 useless as to having any meaning.

    Hi Ed,
What do you not understand about the Jerusalem attack in Mt 24 and Lk 21?
That day is critical for those in the vicinity

    To all;

Some other Scriptures to be considered.

    Acts 1:8
    King James Version (KJV)

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

    and

    Matthew 28:18
    King James Version (KJV)

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

    and

    Matthew 13:47
    King James Version (KJV)

47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
