hi all, been viewing these videos on where and how , and why we have so many english translations of God's word.
it's amazing how this is happening, and if i understand right it all come's down to selling bibles, but in order to sell your english version you first have to knock the top seller off,
well the video's explains it better and can easly be verify,
videos are by David Hocking from Hope for today ministry,
tell me what you think , God's blessing on all

    Hi Nashash,
I hate the fact that commercial success is determining the choice of bible translations available for study. Populist demand is destroying the truth. Biased and inaccurate versions are now much more accessible but honest truth seekers who have yet to know the help of the Spirit have little hope of finding the right path.

Surely truth is held as utterly precious by some who make these sorts of decisions that affect us all?

    hi nick
you got it totally rong, the translations the commercial end of it will by no means alter the comming to God for the righteous ones ,because it is not man who decieded to let them in the Kingdom of God but God himself,so where is the problem?are you a righteous.??

I think it was understood from the earliest times, religion could be turned into big business, and it was, and still is.
The many different tranlations I think came about by mainly two reasons; one, by those who believe in the trinity, and two, to make it easier for people to understand what is written; that however can become a problem if the translater has no understading either.
And there is a third reason which was up to the preachers, to preach what ever they thought would make the people come back.
