April 8, 2007 at 11:46 pm#48082NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Focussing the abilty of the search feature so that word in topics
are separate from the word sought appearing in a million threads.April 9, 2007 at 10:18 am#48133ProclaimerParticipantHi Nick.
You can do that if you go down to the heading “Refine the Search” on the search page.
From there you choose “Topic Titles”.
Then you can choose by “Today”, This Week”, “This Month”, “This Year”, and “The Beginning”.

April 11, 2007 at 6:42 am#48565davidParticipantT8, is it possible that Cult Buster is a computer program?
April 11, 2007 at 6:45 am#48567NickHassanParticipantHi david,
I think it shows some personality if little life.July 3, 2007 at 9:58 pm#57845Not3in1Participantt8,
May I suggest that starting new threads on the Trinity be restricted somehow? It is making it difficult for members to keep track and even more of a dis-service to guests who are trying to find a good thread on the Trinity (one that is established and that has a good number of contributions). It there are a half-dozen Trinity threads here and there – with only a few pages each – a visitor might miss the larger threads? Just my thoughts and concerns. Thanks.July 3, 2007 at 10:55 pm#57853ProclaimerParticipantYes I agree.
I will close down immediately any duplicate discussions from this point on.
This has always been the case, but lately duplicate discussions often have pages of posts before I have seen them and I feel guilty in closing them down.
I think the best thing to do is to close them down (for more postings). I need to be more ruthless I think.
Also what could help is other members like yourself, making a post that has a brief message saying that this discussion will likely be closed because it is a duplicate. You could even paste in the link to the other discussion. Further, the same member could then make a post in the feedback section for the Admin to see. The discussion would then be closed, although it would still remain readable.

Sounds good, t8 – thank you!July 4, 2007 at 1:14 am#57919ProclaimerParticipantQuote (david @ April 11 2007,18:42) T8, is it possible that Cult Buster is a computer program?
A program and a brainwashed person are very similar. One is a written set of instructions and the other has chosen to believe a written set of instructions (such as a creed).
Not much difference in other words.
However a person should be able to think for himself and to make his own mind up on things. A program can only do that if that feature is part of the program.
I suspect that CultB is a person. His answers are not quite as robotic as a spambot. He does answers some questions specifically and that shows a human trait at least.
July 22, 2007 at 7:19 am#61063davidParticipantHi t8. I'm thinking one subject of “salvation” could be created where other related threads are put.
Right now, I think 2 new threads have been created: “Salvation for all,” and “salvation by us or by God.”
There is also a string of Salvation by faith/works threads.
I'm thinking these could be organized under one heading. It is an important, interesting subject–salvation.October 13, 2007 at 9:13 pm#68260davidParticipantHi t8.
I was wondering if it's time to organize this site even more. You could easily have one section on just the trinity, where about 1/4 of all these threads could fit under in subsections.
I just find it so frustrating when multiple threads on the same subject are started. Is there any way to organize this site so that all the multiple threads that are the same are in one section? I realize this would take a lot of work.October 19, 2007 at 8:28 am#68807Is 1:18ParticipantHello t8,
I hope you have been keeping well. I'm wondering when you are going to post your next submission in the debate. By my reckoning we are only half way through and it's your turn. Let me know.Blessings
