    Hi ED,
Oneness teaches that the Father and the Holy Spirit are one and the same PERSON and that Jesus IS the Father incarnate.

They seem to hold to some of the catholic concepts such as incarnation [becoming the Son] at birth while rejecting others such as THREE PERSONS

They hold that the Spirit of Jesus pre existed as God but was not another BEING.

But while God manifests in creation by His Spirit God resides in heaven. That Spirit is Of Him but He is more than His Spirit.

The Word was of His Spirit and in Him and with Him before manifesting in the prophets, with the Israelites in the desert and then in Jesus as Christ.

That Word was in the form of God but emptied Himself of glory and authority to come as the Servant Spirit and show men how to relate to God.

Remaining one with God the Word is different as an image is to the Original. Now the Servant Son is at the right hand of God in heaven.

That is how I see it

    Hi Ed,
Your position that the Spirit IS the Father seems closer to oneness.
Likewise your position that the WORD IS the Spirit.
Perhaps I have heard you wrong.

    Hi Nick,

I don't like to play the game of disagreements, but rather of mutual understanding.

I will write one sentence explaining the way I understand things instead.
Jesus as a baptized human, was a fractal of the entirety of God.

That is what I understand the essence of this to mean…
“Who is the image of the invisible God” (Col 1:15)

    God bless

    Hi T,
You need to seek this blessing from above.
    It is still promised.[acts 2.39]

The Spirit is the manifestation of our loving God within reach of us.

but you try to make a statement ,what is not the reflection of the word or a meaning of it ,

    Hi T,
The natural mind cannot grasp spiritual things.
Your need can only be supplied by God.
