A few years ago New Zealand had women occupying at the same time the three most powerful positions in the country, being the Prime Minister, Governor General and Chief Justice. The wheels did not fall off! The talk here about the qualities men and women might display in general ignores the fact that you are only electing one woman to a position, not all women.Stuart

I think that it also overestimates the power of the president.
Aside from veto power, and of course declaring war which are undoubtably great powers, it is still the congress and senate that does most of the damage in the U.S.Tim
