Nehemia Gordon refuted what Jeff Benner said about the Hebrew “vav”.
The evidence suggests there never was a “W” sound in ancient Hebrew.
You can keep claiming that there was, but the truth is there never was!

But this thread is about how God’s name (יהוה) transliterates into English
as YHVH. That is because there is no “W” sound in modern Hebrew
and that there never was a “W” sound in ancient Hebrew either!
