ParticipantHi t8 and ST,
The stream behind us turned into a 100m wide river and it got more than halfway up the stopbank.
The wind was like a freight train passing a couple of nights ago but no damage.
Still drizzling.July 31, 2008 at 10:53 pm#369541Not3in1
ParticipantBe safe my Kiwi's!

We need some of that legendary Wellington wind to dry us out.August 4, 2008 at 6:48 am#369535Proclaimer
ParticipantWellington hasn't had much wind at all really apart from the storm. Maybe global warming is for real. I think it has more to do with El Nino, La Nina though.

ParticipantWe finally had some rain yesterday, and the grass is green again. Our impatience are in full bloom and so beautiful. So is our Magnolia Tree, it still has new buds. We had some really beautiful days. Some
90 degree's days. But there is another cold front coming in. Hmmmm as far as Global Warming goes, maybe.
Good night Irene and thanks for sharing.August 6, 2008 at 8:39 am#369546Lightenup

Hey sounds like your weather is the opposite to ours. Maybe we should track it and see if it is consistent. If so, then we will have the best weather forecast system out there by using data from your weather stations and ours combined.OK, right now it is fine. What is happening there?
