Hi charity,
Without blood there is no forgiveness.
The lamb of God cleansed the temple for his sacrifice at their hands.
When he died the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom by the priest of the new covenant allowing all in him direct access though his blood to the Father, his father and God.
His blood ran as water to earth and the bread and the wine taken together show the reunion of that body and blood alive in us, Christ with his earthly Body unto eternity.

If no temple was in Jerusalem how could God cleanse it?
If no Pharisees ruled in the seat of Moses how would their yeast be exposed?
