    Thanks guys… I do agree that reading the bible and talking to God directly is always the best thing to do but I'm always welcome to hear your advice too.

    Back on my vision, what do you think of it? Have many members here had revelations or visions as well? I must admit, that I feel new, reborn. I feel that I died and now I am raised, it's a feeling inside my heart in my soul that I just feel God's love so much more than before.

    I feel so happy, so alive! I feel that I have been in God's presence! With everything that happened with the church with the temptation, with my family been torn apart by my parents divorce by me making peace with them and my friends and now this revelation.

    It seemed GOD is pleased with the life I have lead and that I stayed faithful to him and that no matter how vulnerable I was, out in the open away from his church and his family (community) I proved my worth, I proved my faith and my love to him.

    My mom couldn't believe that I stood up at the Easter service and I spoke without any nerves, no hesitation. Put me up there any other day and I would stumble and stutter on my words with fear! That shows that I truly believed what I saw and how much I wanted to tell everyone!

    I would like to hear from anyone if they have had similar experiences

    Richie,

    hanks for sharing the vision with us but I don't think it anything to pursue. Interpretting dreams is fraught with danger and can lead you into Spiritism. You will start believing other dreams mean something when in fact they are simply from your conscience and also due to environmental aspects.

    For instance; You dream that you are drowning… You wake up and your heart is pumping like mad and your head is covered by your sheet;
    Simples…!
    – You were not not able to breath due to the sheet blocking your air – your inner spirit was telling you this in that way as it maybe something that you fear – drowning.

    You are walking somewhere, your feet feel haevy and you can't walk while every one else is just crusing by;
    – Simples again;
    You got cramp in your legs – and you trying to move them – your inner spirit is interpretting it as walking.

    You are floating out of your body …
    Simples again even;
    – You have temporariy lost feeling in your body so you can't feel anything under or around you so to your brain you are floating;

    You dream of some trauma situation – you are being attacked by a person but their face keeps changing;
    – No problem; Changing faces means many people at different times

    Richie, your inner spirit works on symbolism, pictures, motion pictures. Each person has their own but there are common things and people make big money from claiming to be able to interpret for you – don't waste your money on them, please.

    Your sleeping environment and how traumatized you are by pre and present events is a huge factor – Your brain assimilates information at different times (Like a spring cleaning – or garbage collector) and things that have happened to you over a period of time will be consolidated into a waking dream – one that you remember – or wake up suddenly from.

    The ones that mean something are the REPEATED dreams – something is being told to you – remember them – and them only.
    What lesson are they trying to teach you – relate them to somethings symbolic in your life – they are YOUR symbolics.

    Shall I go on…

    Please start a study course – get your friend Anne to recommend one for you and tell us what you have learned.

    As friend Terra says, be careful in the forum, you will hear lots of things that are not wholesome but ocassionally you will hear something truthful and wholesome.

    Be of good cheer,
    Today is the start of your new life in God through Christ…Amen

    Hi Richie
    I am new also. This is my first post. I wanted to share my baptismal experience with you. I also wanted to comment on your dream. A lot of what JA says is good advise. I do not know why God showed you Hell, but I believe it was a Hell of a dream. (I'm kidding honey….just a play on words.)
    From 1963 thru 1968 my family lived on the Navajo Reservation in the Northwest corner of New Mexico. My dad was a foreman at the Uranium Plant across the river. We are a white family. (I see u are from London…but I figure u know that I am talking about American Indians….not East indians)
    Anyway we went to the baptist church. It had a white side where the preacher spoke English for the whites….and a Navajo side where they had a Navajo speaking preacher. The Navajo Preacher knew English and so he could preach to the English side if our Preacher had to go somewhere. His son was MOOEEE Handsome and I had a huge crush on him. He was my age and he couldn't stand me. Anyway we ended up getting baptised on the same day by his father. My crush went first and all went well. (To get how hysterically funny this next part is maybe u just might have had to be there.) I mean it was fall down laughing. I dutifully climbed in the baptismal and put my hands in a prayerful position as Mr N. lowered me back into the water. (I call him Mr N although I am sure he has left this world long ago.) Anyway….I held my breath and held my breath and held my breath. He prayed over me than he kept talking and pretty soon I began thrashing around cause I was either gonna drown or pass out if I didnt get some air. My feet started kicking and water splashed up over the lip and all over the floor and I was trying to claw Mr N's hands off of my face from holding me down. He let me up but I sucked in a little water and began coughing. As he helped me out I saw his Son waiting in the wings with a huge grin on his face. I ran over to him. We were both in sheets and dripping wet. He said “Are u alright?” I said “WHAT!” Then I let him have it with a left hook. I missed….and he began to run down the corridor that led to the Navajo side with me hot on his trail. I started beating him on the back and of course this really made us laugh. Also we heard the whole audience laughing in the church. We fell down ourselves laughing so hard. I kept punching him “You JERK!” and then we would start laughing all over again. We finally came to our senses and went and got dressed. When I saw him in school later we would always punch each other could neither one of us could ever forget that day. I still grin when I think of it. (Probably somebody is gonna jump my post saying yada yada yada….but again I will say…ya had to be there.) Ahee hee hee :D

    Hi budhabee,

    Welcome. I hope your baptism in Jesus's name will go much smoother, but the Scriptures does say it will be not with natural water but with the Holy Spirit (which is represented as a River of pure Water in Revelation) and FIRE (Which, I think is a symbolism for God Almighty…!)

    Budhalee, I hope you enjoy the debate here.

    Do you have any specific topic of interest that drew you here?

    Hi Richie, it is amazing How much God can change us. I used to be scared of so much, but im not now. They can even kill me I dont care. I wont deny God. Or His Son who He sent. I know theres a God, and even though We cant 'see' with our actual eyes we can 'feel it'  and sense it, and I know theres more to life than just what is around us.

    I have had a similar experience to you. But it wasnt of Hell. It was something of the opposite. Things like what you and I had strenghen us. It is for you though. I dont tell too many people what I saw. Im sure you can figure out why. My main problem in life was fear, what God did to me removed my fear. I know that God wants to help us, and sometimes He just goes that extra step and reaches out to show us He does care and does Love us. Be strong Richie:)

    yes I do. I have been looking for a safe place where I could talk to people about their religious dreams or spiritual dreams just like Richie here. I am also looking for people who have had visions of the type given when they are awake and minding there own business…heh heh…so to speak. I have a few but GOL DANG….I dont wanna be the only one. No way am I going first! ahee hee

    O…the river of pure water….I call it into “the bubbling spring,” Or else “drinking from the bubbling spring.” I have been in it a few times taking huge gulps but remember how old I am…always remember that, cause it may just be an age related phonamanon. (ok ok my spelling sucks I know) heh heh…I mean some peoples just may not be old enough to have experienced this yet. Then again Idk…this may not even be an age related thing at all. Course there is always the possibility that I am completly bananas. But I sincerely hope not. Like I got a screw loose or something somewhere. I definately dont wanna be looking back over my shoulder for people who wanna go and stick me in the funny farm. Ahee hee hee

    Hi I figured you were a female from your story. Im one too but I think my name gives that away:) Im a bit younger than you- 30s but I always seem to be the youngest in everything. I used to get kicked out of conversations, (I lived with people who were in their 40s when I was in my 20s) they liked to take care of me though so that was cool. Anyway, welcome to the forum….(Bud)

    Hi Bud,

    Perhaps it is how you present yourself. People expect a certain pattern of behaviour, called a Social Norm.
    By the way, your writing and content already told me, like Kar, that you are female.

    Please don't mention age as an obstacle to anything concerning God and His glorious revelation and the testimony of Christ. You are as young as the woman you feel (And believe me, my girlfriend appreciates that!)

    Bud, can I Just Ask (yes, i did notice your pun!) you to be VERY careful when indulging in Dream interpretation.

    The door to that room is hard to open and even when you get it open is not easy to enter through.

    Satan is stood outside that door and is ready to pounce on all those who attempt to go through that door. He will stand in your way and show you another door that is easier to go through…

    Kar,

    Sorry to say this here: How do you say that God has gone one step further… God has gone the WHOLE WAY for us all, even sacrificing his own beloved Son for us. How much more, what 'one more' step can he make.
    God is not going to 'carry us in his Way'. He is teaching us, through Christ, to 'Walk in his Way', the Holy Spirit will support us if we stumble along the Way, the narrow, rocky road, that leads to Salvation and Life.

    Off topic, why does God allow poor people: to test the spirit of those who are wealthy in money, knowledge, skills, charity, spirit, and other privileges.
    More on that but not here, it was just a teaser question that came to mind from a Tv program that I am just watching.

    Hi Bud,I went through a couple of years where it was full on learning from above, visions, all kinds, (and I know what you mean about being awake at the time)…I dont care what anyone here says about it, I know what happened and anyone who really knows me does believe me, I was completly sane (though a little gone as in its ALL I thought about, God, The Bible, etc)…but at the same time I still managed to go through each day, raise my children, clean, cook etc, and my children are beutifull well liked sociable and so on. So yeah, I dont care what anyone here thinks. Where I went wrong back then is when I started reading literature which wasnt good (It started with Armstrong stuff then to the Library and involved even gnostics= not good) so it took me quite a while to feel like I was back where I started, never again! I hated feeling so distant and lost from God compared to what I had.

    What I love is that God can take us anywhere and use us in any way he wants if we allow it to happen. If we're obediant:)

    Hi Ja, ok wrong word choice which I used.

    Regarding your other question:
    Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
    “Blessed are the poor; for they shall inherit the earth.

    Thats all I can think of right now its really late and I need to turn off my computer but its a good question.

    Oh…Oh no I dont interpret dreams. I just like to hear about spiritual dreams. I think people would know if there dream was spiritual or not. Right? Well hell maybe not idk. Oh and on age….yeah….Im still not sure about that. A five year old often knows more then a two year old. Up that some. A 60 year old often knows more than a 40 year old. I attribute that to Gods age plan. Other wise why even live long in this society if it is not good for anything. I think the steadiness of a 60 year old would have to also give the appropriate recognition to an 80 year old. If you see what I mean. Then again there is always alzheimers, and age related illnesses. A damm shame too to waste all that knowlege. Also I better mention that Im not afraid to explore. Since Jesus said “Seek and you shall find.” I think that that message means to “really seek” which for me includes talking to people, reading all the books I can, and knowing for my part when to shut up. Ill stick to that though on the age thing as a possibility. Also I should say I dont testify really and I dont spread his glorious revelation. So those points are kinda mute for me. Also I should mention I am not afraid to talk about spiritual dreams. And doors being open and what not. If a door opens this kid is gonna go thru it. If your belief in Satan is standing outside he is probably apt to get a shiner. Mabey a couple of shiners and a bloody nose. Sooo…I guess Im not afraid of open doors and exploration and so far not Satan…so… sorry bout that. Also if Satan shows me another door (which Im not sure I see the logic in that being as I just went thru one door) I am going to go thru that door too. Let me try to explain the age thing. When I was 50 a young woman in our neigborhood befriended me. One day she looked at me and said “I am wise…I am really wise.” I smiled and looked down while I contemplated what to say. Finally I tried to explain to her “Yes I think you are very wise for a nineteen year old…but why would Our Father let me live for fifty years and not have me learn anything in that expance of time. When you say you are wise for a nineteen year old….what does living as long as I have mean. If it means nothing to you than our Father has wasted 30 precious years on me. And for what? Am I a 50 year old dunce? So for me age matters in every way.

    Welcome Richi and budhabee!  I am also a Female my name is Irene, my Husband Georg uses the same users name.  I am 71 years young and my Husband is 72 years old….So please always see who sign's the post.  I hate to bust your bubbles, but I do not believe in a hell.  I don't think that a Merciful God would let His creation suffer for ever.   What I do believe in is the Lake of Fire, which is going to destroy all the wicked Satan and the False Prophet and all that worship him.  We came out of the Catholic Church and at one time we too believed in a Hell… However us studying the Word of God has ruled Hell out…. Hell is a whole in the ground.
    Ezek. 18:20 tells us that the Soul that sinneth, it shall die……
    Especially the Catholic Church teaches Hell just to keep people in that Church I believe…

    Math. 10:28 “And fear not them which kill the Body, but are not able to kill the Soul, but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both Soul and body in a Hell fire….
    Here we see that all the wicked will be destroyed.
    Ezek. 9:5 tells us this :” For the living know that they shall die, but the death know nothing. ”  All that have died are sleeping in their graves.
    Also if you go to a Church that teaches the trinity, you are worship in vain.”
    Math. `15:9
    It is Satan that wants you to believe the lie that He told so many times.
    If I were you I would study the trinity and who came up with it first.  The first Christians did not believe in it at all.  Many died in the first three centuries.  It was a man made doctrine.  It was
    Quintus Septimus Florens Tertullian who first came up with it…. He was born to Pagan Parents and in 155 A.D.  It was Constantine who after almost three bloody and brutal persecution issued an edit and granted all Christian to practise their religion in freedom.  However before they did, so much was changed.  Even our Calendar, and all but one Holy Day turned in to Holidays, like Easter, Christmas, Valentines Day, Halloween etc.
    God in Rev. 18:4 tells us to “Come out of Her my people….
    At that time the Church was called the Roman Universal Church, which later became the Roman Catholic Church.  Out of it, came all other Churches.  Most either believe in the trinity or are Sabbath keepers.  Both are not according to Scriptures.  Check out Exodus 31:16-17 and what we are today in Luke 22:20 and the great Commandment in Math. 22: 38-40.
    Peace and Love Irene

    Hi JA

    In Joel it says people in the last days (Before the day of the Lord) will have dreams and visions, the only place this is happening today is with Muslim people who have never really heard the truth of Christ. So dreams and visions do have a big place in the last days.

    Iv had visions but not dreams. Apart from one. I have though dreamt 'warning dreams' which the 3 times it happened were completly correct.

    Hi Irene, there is punishment (whatever it is) and then there is the second death. According to scripture.
    The problem is that people dont understand the words Second DEATH, they seem to think it means eternal consious torment?

    Hi Kar,

    Can you tell me what these dreams are about that these Muslims are having?

    Anything example will do?

    Does the Scriptures say whether these dreams are good or bad, potents, warnings or prophesies?

    The time of the end will cause Satan to start bringing out his big guns, you can see it in the disruption of personal, family, educational, social, political, national, continental, sports, media, religious and the natural environment, the demise of the animal kingdom and the depletion of fish in the seas, the [re-]acceptance of unnatural behaviour between men (Condemn the behaviour, not the person themself!) and the adoption of animals as 'constant companions' by women, instead of a man, breakdown of law, growth of lawlessness, both of children to parents and teachers, the rise of powers in otherwise placid nations (India, China, Japan. Strangely, Africa is still slumbering!), 'Great' Britain is now commonly known as only 'Britain' because it is more a consumer than a producer, although still prominent onthe world stage, waging wars worldwide following that other global superpower nation, the United States…, The rise of the dominance of the wounded creature, the Computer, 'who is like this beast? Who is able to make war with him?'
