Quote (banana @ Dec. 05 2009,14:56) Quote (bodhitharta @ Dec. 02 2009,05:25) Quote (banana @ Dec. 02 2009,04:02) Quote (bodhitharta @ Nov. 29 2009,08:24) When Jesus says: In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:1-3How is it that most people believe that Jesus is saying that there is no way to God except through him?
Now in talking about Israel it is a “nation” but God speaks about Nations
Genesis 17 (King James Version)
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
bodAbraham was the first to show faith in God, for this he is considered the father of the faithful, and without faith in Jesus Christ, no one will enter into the kingdom of God, Heb. 11:6, “without faith it is impossible to please God”.
God's covenant with Abraham was for him and his descendants, the Israelites, because of his faith, Heb. 11:17, a promise of physical blessings IF THEY OBEYED, which they did not.
Their disobedience however, did not cancel out the covenant God made with Abraham, Gen. 22:16-18.
Unless you except the sacrifice of Jesus as the atonement for your sins, God can not forgive you.Georg
You are wrong again according to the scriptures:Romans 11:27-29 (King James Version)
27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
God says clearly he will take away their sins although they do not believe in Jesus (enemies of the gospel)
God already loves those Jews who are righteous whether they accept Jesus or not because:
Romans 11 (King James Version)
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Therefore:
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Romans 11:31-33
bodSo what is wrong with what I said?
The scriptures you gave only show God's unchanging covenant with his people, the Israelites, that has nothing to do with the covenant that he “WILL” make with them.
That covenant won't be made before the millennium, it will be made when Christ begins to rule.Georg
These are not believers in Jesus Christ but lovers of God, yet GOD accepts them.December 5, 2009 at 4:37 am#162258bananaParticipantbod
When Jesus begins to rule, there will be only believers in Jesus Christ, all that don't, will be destroyed.
Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

How is Jesus like Moses? Muhammad is more like MosesBoth were born of 2 human parents both were warriors who killed during their lifetimes, both were orphaned both married more than one wife both were frightened when they received the message of God both brought Law to their People and both focused on the destruction of Idols and Migration

2Co 4:1 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2Co 4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
2Co 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
2Co 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2Co 4:5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
2Co 4:6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of ChristDecember 5, 2009 at 7:29 am#162287bodhithartaParticipantQuote (terraricca @ Dec. 05 2009,17:09) hi bod this is for you

bodMoses received the word of God directly from God in the tent. Jesus was taught by God what to say before he came down to earth.
Hbr 3:1 ¶ Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Hbr 3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
Moses' house was the nation Israel.
Hbr 3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
The house Jesus build are the saints, spiritual Israel.
Hbr 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
Hbr 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Muhammad never ruled over a house of God, and never build a house of God.

Also, what is Spiritual Israel? the gentiles are the gentiles they are not Spiritual Israel. Israel is Israel.

You ask, what is spiritual Israel?
The Israelites are the descendants of Abraham, Abraham is the father of the faithful, every faithful follower of Jesus is a spiritual descendant of Abraham.Georg

really jesus or god's name was not in original greek & hebrew texts?are you sure you want to go there?
you are very wrong. there was, that is how it was translated to other languages. to keep the word taught from period after period when the languages widely used throught the earth had changed it still is and was in it.
was muhammad ever mentioned in the bible? just curious because he's worshiped above jesus to islam.
the only things you truely hear from islam is quran and muhammad. those two things are there guidence, not christ or the bible. thats fact
if “allah” sent jesus to teach his fathers will, then how can the quran be god's message to all through muhammad if jesus had already done so. claim theat jesus is in heaven with his father yet muhammad is dead on earth.
you annot have two messiah's as islam tres to exhault muhammad.
do you believe that the bible is god's inspired words?
do you believe christ came to earth to do his fathers will?
the torah is the first few book of the bible, whats your piont. was jesus upon earth with moses doing god's will? did he know of jesus?

satan is the god of this world's system of things. he is the ruler and also the father of the lie.god may have created the earth. the earth.
satan is the ruler of the world( the system of things) exsisting on earth.
don't confuse them
we live in the world but must not be apart of the world because it is ruled by satan.
