When Jesus says:
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:1-3How is it that most people believe that Jesus is saying that there is no way to God except through him?
Now in talking about Israel it is a “nation” but God speaks about Nations
Genesis 17 (King James Version)
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

That's not what the scripture says and not even what you yourself has admitted many times quoting from MT25November 29, 2009 at 1:30 am#161391bodhithartaParticipantFor he that is not against us is on our part.

But you are against the servants of God and offer to correct their words? You try to draw proselytes unto your false religion.
Where does that put you?

No “But” do you dispute the quote by Jesus yes or no?Now you say I have false religion but you seem to not know what PURE RELIGION is:
James 1:26-27 (King James Version)
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Now ask yourself do you fit the description, have you truly bridlled your tongue?

Seems you have been accused an enemy of other servants of 'Elohim.
Seems you have been also accused of recruiting proselytes into your religion.
I have not seen you do either one.
What I have seen though is another member in here continually trying to sow dischord and hate and giving the rest of us a bad name.

It would be sad if no one was aware of it, but he accused you of what he should of not have and that is so far from the truth that I am in good company. He should eat his fruit soon otherwise it will rot, you cannot leave the fruits of the spirit to sit outside yourself to die and expect to still have them.

before this gets to be sandpaper again, what place is christ preparing for you?

November 29, 2009 at 2:42 pm#161421ConstitutionalistParticipantA city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is 'elohim.
A city in a heavenly country where 'elohim is not ashamed to be called their 'elohim.
And that city will come. And I will be a pillar with his name written in me, and I will rejoice in that city, and what a wedding feast will that be.
What peace it shall be, Pĕlesheth and Yĕhuwdah will no longer be split, and we will be one people.

What do you mean? God has many mansions and Jesus was talking to those he was preparing a place for indicating that their are other places.November 30, 2009 at 3:26 am#161458NickHassanParticipantHi BD,

He said he was preparing “a place” not places but then Jesus said his Father had MANY MANSIONSNovember 30, 2009 at 4:45 am#161464NickHassanParticipantHi BD,

No need to have a division in Christ to have inclusiveness in God.Jesus is not God.

But he is the only way there.
His sheep follow him into the kingdom.
More sheep are found in the final judgement.None by other religions.
November 30, 2009 at 10:26 am#161476Tim KraftParticipantIf you look up the greek words (mansion: a place of abode) you will understand that Jesus is saying, In my fathers house/the temple/us, there are many places of abode(we are the temple of God), I go/die to prepare or make ready a place of abode within you. And if I go and prepare this place in you I will return/enter in a new form/spirit and join with you as one, that where I am(in heaven w/God) you may be also.
v23)If a man love me, he will keep my words. and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode(living place) with him.
IMO Jesus is referring to the Kingdom of God dwelling within each individual. We are the temple. We are his body. Bless all, TK

You are incorrect and he was the only way there for those he was speaking to as he was sent to be their Messiah, this was the same Messiah who said “Do not go to the gentiles” so if he did not come for them but for the lost sheep of Israel why is it you can take some sentences he says as everlasting statements and others as passing statements?Deuteronomy 34 (King James Version)
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
Suppose I take this statement as an everlasting statement?
