Hi Not3,
Some sort of a rainbow god?

April 10, 2008 at 9:46 am#86659seek and you will findParticipantSamuel I am curious if that is what you believe, why are you still in the Oneness Church. Are people more important then what God says to come out of Her my people. I have longed for fellowship for a long time now, but I will not go where I know that they are teaching against what God wants. Three in one is also what the Catholic Church teaches, We came out of that system, went into a similar system that was legalistic in nature. They then went back into believing in the trinity. Since then we have stayed Home and God has opened our eyes to more truths. So what I am saying to you, that we dont need a Church to worship God in. I do know what Paul said about not meeting, but He was talking to those that believed in the truth. We are in the end times, and many Antichrist have come on the scene, we have to watch out for that, it is our responsibility. But I can not tell you what to do or prove to you what to do. No offence intended.
Peace and Love Mrs.April 10, 2008 at 1:18 pm#86670SamuelParticipantI like to go to the church for the fellowship. I don't expect they will be letting me preach to many sermons though…haha
EVERY church and Religion in the World has something wrong with it. It was that was 2000 years ago when Jesus came and do we have any reason to believe that things will be different when he comes back?
None the less I like going to church…I like the fact that I can go to the church 24/7 anytime I want to pray. Being as how I live in an apartment you can really “Shout” if you know what I mean. There is a singles group that I have been hanging around in. There is a Bible college at the church that I'm going to as well.
There is a lot of stuff going on at the church that keeps me out of trouble, and keeps my walking down the straight road.
You just have to turn the other check and ignore people that look down on you for your belief, and Pray that if by some chance they are “Bonified” right …that GOD will show you that they are.
There are a lot of people that I believe think they are going to be with the Lord…that will not be. Lots of people say Lord, Lord…but don't obey his main commandment …LOVE everything…even if it don't love you…LOVE it anyways.
Tell me how many people can keep their mouth shut about someone? lol…I even catch myself doing it.
Then on the other hand there are going to be people that think they are not going to be with the Lord that probably will.
People are people…and they don't want to listen to anything…but themselves.

I think it best not to profane how another knows God. Just because he might be called by another name in another land we should be careful that we do not defame what may in truth be our own God.April 10, 2008 at 6:24 pm#86693NickHassanParticipantHi cato,
Should we be that ignorant about Who is the one true God?April 10, 2008 at 7:09 pm#86702SamuelParticipantNow wait just a minute…
Cato does actually have a point. Although me being to actually convey that same point in a way not to offend many christians is highly unlikely.
I firmly believe that GOD or the “GOD HEAD” is far more than any one of us lumps of clay could every preceive him to be.
I don't think there is any one religion that describes GOD in his fullness.
I mean MAN can't even SEE GOD…it would kill him…how crazy do you think we would be if we could fathom a FULL understanding of GOD?
Quote Romans 11 (King James Version) 33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Man can't even look upon GOD. Moses wanted to see him and he could not. He put Moses in a mountain and Moses got to see the last bit right as he had passed by.
And that almost killed him.
Look…Man is so full of himself its pityful. All the Guile in our Mouth/Belly is …I'm sure of great disgust to GOD.
Its no good. Its folly. No matter how much better or whatever we think we are than someone else we are not.
We are all the same exact thing. Some of us just do more of what GOD wants us to do than others.
WE ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!
Quote
1 Romans
3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;We are DIRT! That is all we are is DIRT! We are not Archangels or Golden Ensembles on GODS throne…
We are just DIRT.April 10, 2008 at 7:19 pm#86706NickHassanParticipantHi Samuel,
We are not ignorant of God in Jesus because he has brought that knowledge.
Idolatry is discouraged among the followers of Jesus.1Jn5
19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

So Jesus in the type of David will rule God's people on earth

Quote OR it means that there is no God but him, however, different nations and people call him by a different name. What do other's think? I think it means neither of these things Mandy.
MICAH 4:5
“For all the peoples, for their part, will walk each one in the name of its god; but we, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever.”I think it means that Jehovah's people walk in Jehovah's name. Other people follow other gods. But as for us, we shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God.
What a privilege we have to walk in the name of Jehovah, supporting his reputation and recognizing his authority in our life.Micah’s prophecy foretold: “It must occur in the final part of the days that the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it peoples must stream.”—Micah 4:1.
This would happen in the “final part of the days,” the last days.
In these last days, therefore, “the mountain of the house of Jehovah [has] become firmly established above the top of the mountains.”
The lofty true worship of Jehovah has been restored, firmly established, and elevated above other types of religion.
As Micah’s prophecy also foretold, “to it peoples must stream.”
And these ones “shall walk in the name of Jehovah [their] God to time indefinite, even forever.”
April 11, 2008 at 5:34 am#86749NickHassanParticipantHi david,
Young's literal Micah 4.1
“Micah 4
1And it hath come to pass, In the latter end of the days, The mount of the house of Jehovah Is established above the top of the mounts, And it hath been lifted up above the hills, And flowed unto it have peoples.MUST does not appear there as in the JW bible.
I checked a few other versions and none seemed to say MUSTApril 11, 2008 at 5:43 am#86750davidParticipantI think your bible with your “haths” hath confused you.
Back to modern english:
“In the last days
the mountain of the LORD's [Jehovah'] temple will be established…” (NIV, etc)As for the word “must” I know you are trying to make some point, I just have no idea what it is.
