Breaking of bread – communion – I don't get hung up on words
You knew what I was speaking of, I will call it breaking of bread if you refer, although technically should it not be called breaking of bread and partaking of wine then?Also I still do not see where it says in any of the verses you quoted me that baptism is a seal. There is the verses in Romans
ROMANS 4:11-12
And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.That says Abraham recieved the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith.
But I don't find anywhere that circumcision is likened to baptism by water.
The circumcision today is of the heart by the Holy Spirit by which we are sealed.I stand corrected, my sincerest apologies Malcolm,

About the scriptural references to baptism being a “seal”, I used what was offered by the New Westminister Catechism of Faith on the subject. Sorry that was the best that I could come up with!
I was just really interested in knowing where it is called a seal, cos I want to know if it is.
My understanding at present is that the Holy Spirit baptism is a seal.
A seal being something that secures the goods sealed to the destination.
Also a seal being a sign of ownership, they used to use a ring to seal letters with hot wax.
The ring was like a signiture and spoke of ownership.
So I was just really interested to see where baptism is a seal and how it would apply…Ferris, the LOrd Almighty called you a Wolf did He not? About the seal, I feel sorry for all of you that would exchange the truth of God for a lie! Do you really believe that I would tell you that I was a sealed remnant and give the entire descript, were I not speaking TRUTH!
