Ed,
I guess it is hard for me to understand as I believe Jesus is the Christ and Jesus is a human being and I answered your question appropriately.
Yes, Jesus was born with his human spirit as he is a human being.
Yes, He was born with the Spirit God gave him as he never sinned and I believe even a child in his mother’ womb is tempted to sin.
I do not know when Jesus literally became the Christ but I do know he was foreordained to be the Christ before the world began.
So yes, the Christ who is Jesus was born.March 28, 2016 at 8:08 pm#810993Ed JParticipantEd,

Yes Kerwin, it is hard for you to understand
Out of thee Bethlehem shall he come forth whose goings forth have been from everlasting (Micah 5:2)
“And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world,
he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.” (Heb 1:6)________________

Out of thee Bethlehem shall he come forth whose goings forth have been from everlasting (Micah 5:2)
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth,
nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens,
I was there” (Prov 8:22-27)________________

I have more trouble understanding your words than those of Scripture because I lack context with your words.
The things Wisdom teaches us of her in the book of Proverbs are self evident.
The one who is now king did come out of Bethlehem.
God told his angels to worship Jesus as heir when he came into the world.
March 29, 2016 at 6:47 am#811000NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The Spirit of Christ was not born.
The vessel for the prophesied Spirit was.
The Spirit does not HAVE a spirit but is spirit.
Spirit of Spirit

Hi Kerwin,
That is because the bible makes clear that
“the spirit of Christ” came from eternity to Bethlehem.
Meaning “the spirit of Christ” was the spirit Jesus was born with.Yet this is something you deny; why?
March 29, 2016 at 7:13 am#811003NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
One and one make three?
You jump to many one verse conclusions.
You tell us Jesus of Nazareth was not a man we can follow?
March 29, 2016 at 8:48 am#811005kerwinParticipantEd,
Jesus is not the Spirit of Christ.
The Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God since they are unified. The Spirit of God is eternal so it can be said it comes from eternity.
I already stated Jesus was born after receiving the Spirit of God in his mother’s womb though I do not think I can prove that using Scripture alone.
I can even state the Spirit went out from Bethlehem but that is not the point of the words of Micah.
Even should I interpret Micah’s words that way it would not support your doctrine. It would merely emphasize the role of the Spirit.
March 29, 2016 at 8:51 am#811006NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Should you make STATEMENTS you cannot support from scripture?
Surely opinions are irrelevant
March 29, 2016 at 8:55 am#811007Ed JParticipantHi Ed,

No Nick, your imagination tells you this. For you imagine God’s Son just an ordinary fellow.
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:5)Out of thee Bethlehem shall he come forth whose goings forth have been from everlasting (Micah 5:2)
March 29, 2016 at 8:59 am#811008Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
Your Jesus was just an ordinary fellow nullifies Psalms 49:7
“None of them(all ye inhabitants of the world) can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him”
…but the Scripture CANNOT be broken!
March 29, 2016 at 9:22 am#811009NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Another one verse dogma?
JWs do this sort of thing.

Was Jesus of Nazareth a man like you?

Hi Nick,
No, he was a man like “God”

Interesting.
He was a man like you though of body soul and spirit who was anointed by God?

Are you questioning your own words or are you trying to ask me a question?

Jesus is the vine and we are the branches while the Father is the Gardener.
But you say the vine is like the Gardener rather than the branches?

What question?

Hi Nick,
Is this your imagination speaking again?
