Knowing god and his son

Jn17.3
” This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent”

Jesus knew His God [Jn8] and he revealed Him to Men.

That knowledge is in the eternal Spirit that gives eternal life.

The Spirit can take us into the depths and thoughts of God[1Cor2]

That life is in the Son and whoever has the Son Has life.[1jn5]

Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ are none of his[Rom8]

The Son came that we may know Him Who is true.[[1jn5]

So seek first the kingdom[Mt6] as with the Spirit you can begin to see[jn3]. Put aside theoretical theological study of God and receive of His Spirit as by the Spirit you can know both God and His Son.
