In one of his many contradictory reports of his alleged vision on the road to Damascus Paul's disembodied jesus, quotes directly from the words of the Bacchus idol Dionysus as recorded in an earlier pagan writing; Bacchae of Euripides (500BCE); “you disregard my words of warning…and kick against the goads [Greek: pros kentra laktizoimi]”(line 794 Bacchae of Euripides).
Paul uses a similar phrase: “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you, this kicking against the goads [Greek: pros kentra laktizein]” (Acts 26:15).November 20, 2009 at 12:25 pm#157883georgParticipantbod

Acts 9:7 (King James Version)7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
Acts 22:9 (King James Version)
9And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
When you finish with that one, I have another

I think you explained it yourself, just didn't realised it.
They heard “a” voice, but not “the voice” of him that spoke to Saul.
I'm ready.

What other voice was there?Anyway
Acts 9:7 (King James Version)
7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
they stood?
Acts 26
13At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
14And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Here you go.

“What other voice was there?” is that realy a question?
Act 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
I can see were no one fell to the ground because of the light, but when they heard a voice, and saw no one, I think that would have scared me too.
In Acts 26 Paul gives the account to Agrippa, are you going to fault Paul for not being that exact with his decription? He did after all say, “when they were all fallen to the ground, “he heard” a voice”, which the others did not hear.
No contradiction hear either.next

If your satisfied with your explanation that's fine with me but clearly they are contradictions whether they are acceptable or not is not the issue wouldn't have been more honest to say
“Yes, I do see what you're saying but those contradictions don't bother me”I'm just asking

You are mistaking, there are no contradiction in the bible, only misunderstandings in man.

Makes you wonder will some ever cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?
Acts 22:9 (Amplified Bible)
9Now the men who were with me saw the light, but they did not hear [[a]the sound of the uttered words of] the voice of the One Who was speaking to me [so that they could understand it].My opinion – Wm
