Nick,
Then you won't be able to accept anything I say about the document. Can you prove that the doc is not about Peter, the disciple?March 1, 2012 at 12:19 am#281779NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
It is so catholic it is a great wonder they did not put it in the canon.
Perhaps it was under suspicion as false?March 1, 2012 at 2:10 am#281807LightenupParticipantHi Nick,
It is very Christian. It is also an historical document so that is one reason that it may be not included in the canon. Elements of it are written in the Canon though and from what I can tell, nothing is in disagreement with the Canon. There is a lot that happened with the apostles that is not in the Canon but recorded elsewhere.I'm surprised that you even believe that the Bible is inerrant because you are so anti-Catholic and skeptical.
My son is in Rome now and goes running in the morning past St. Peter's tomb, the Vatican City, Coliseum, Pantheon, etc. It amazes me that he is there where Peter gave this speech that is in the document.
