Sorry but I've got to know now. Do you use 'aviator' intentionally in an ironic way (given that your avatar is an aircraft) or do you really mean to write 'avatar'?

    That is too funny.
    I'm curious myself.

    Hi Kathi,

My daughter is nearly 10 and she reads some of the entries and has some pretty good questions concerning some “explainations” of scriptures. It's interesting to chat with her about it all sometimes. But I don't believe I will let her sign on. She's just not mature enough to handle the information yet. Sometimes she appears more concerned rather than viewing it as “fun”.

Shoot. Sometimes I wonder if I am mature enough to handle the information.

    All the same, welcome Gentleness!

    Take care,
    Mandy

    Hi Mandy,
I understand about not being mature enough to handle the info yet.  My daughter will be supervised on here for sure.  Chat rooms and message boards are definetly in our kids futures so I thought it to be a good idea that she learn about it from my supervision and training point of view.

    Love, K

I won't allow my kids to enter chat rooms or be a part of message boards. There are too many danger's associated with this – even when they become older teens (especially not then).

I suppose they will have access when they are at a friend's house, and that will be all. And you are correct, training needs to be given so they understand the real danger that is there. When my kids move out of the house and are adults they can buy their own computers and chat all they want to. 😉 Until then, they have to chat in person with their friends or not at all. I guess I'm a hard-nose in that area. I monitor their computer use with an eagle-eye. We've had a couple of porn things pop-up (even going through various fire walls that I have up). So I'm extra-overly-cautious, you could say.

Gentleness I just love that users name. Knowing you it fits very nicely. Since your Mother Home teaches you, I am sure She will let you go on here to fellowship.
Your ride your Horse, your Mother told me. You are lucky, you know to be able to have the grounds to do so.
I forgot to ask your Mother, do you own your own Horse? Keep up the good work, God be with you.
    With Love Irene

    Gentle,

I love the passage of scripture you chose for your tag line!

I think the fruits that I need more of are: patience and faithfulness. I'm gonna work harder on those! Thanks for the reminder.

    :)
    Love,
    Mandy
