Hi,
Perhaps we should look at the anglican man who became the father of Methodism. Does his fruit show him to be a man appointed by God as a leader and teacher? Is the body of Christ divided?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wesley

This is what Wesley said of the one who is the SON OF GODThe distinguishing marks of a Methodist are not his opinions of any sort. His assenting to this or that scheme of Religion, his embracing any particular set of notions, his espousing the judgment of one man or of another, are all quite wide of the point. Whosoever therefore imagines, that a Methodist is a man of such or such an opinion, is grossly ignorant of the whole affair; he mistakes the truth totally. We believe indeed, that all Scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and herein we are distinguished from Jews, Turks, and Infidels. We believe the written word of God to be the only and sufficient rule, both of Christian faith and practice; and herein we are fundamentally distinguished from those of the Romish church. We believe Christ to be the eternal, supreme God; and herein we are distinguished from the Socinians and Arians. But as to all opinions which do not strike at the root of Christianity, we think and let think. So that whatsoever they are, whether right or wrong, they are no distinguishing marks of a; Methodist.
He thought Jesus was the supreme God?
And men follow him?June 19, 2012 at 7:08 pm#303165NickHassanParticipantTopical

His belief in asceticism and sacramentalism is challenged by Col2 and he seems to have no concept of rebirth.June 19, 2012 at 11:01 pm#303182NickHassanParticipantHi,
The history of an anglican from whom have come many more divisions.
But the anglican church was never part of the body of Christ any more than her mother was.May 10, 2014 at 7:13 pm#381616NickHassanParticipantHi Keras,
You mention that as a child you attended a methodist sunday school.

Many are sheltering in hope in the false churches, bewitched and unable to accept the Word as seed.May 11, 2014 at 12:50 pm#381702terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ May 11 2014,11:13) Hi t,

Nare we not suppose to look first that we have the truth before teaching others into it ,
if not we may end up joining the false teachers line up

Most like their truth prepackaged and neatly wrapped.
Seeking for themselves seems too hard
They are frightened of deceptionThus by trusting in man they become deceived
