CARMEL, I And Jodi, have produce 100’s of scriptures That contradict most everything you say , even thos here who agree with some of what you say disagree with you, infact none of you people completely agree with each other , which is an evident token of your lack of the truth of God, you preach what the Father of lies, has taught you to preach. You a afraid to even challenge the “lies” you have been taught over many years, remember what scripture say? Rev 21:8
Time to question some of what you have been taught in the past Carmel. IMO
Peace and love to you and yours. ……gene

What you preach is not right. And you would like us to believe you ….?
Jesus is the One named THE WORD in John 1. It’s the truth; a child can understand it.
Why does the Son of God have several titles, names …?
It is that God is a pedagogical God. Each name or title for the Son of God or for another person means something special that we must try to understand.November 14, 2020 at 9:12 am#867475ProclaimerParticipantOn the one hand you say he was a man, on the other hand , you preach him as a prexisting “whatever”, you have never told us what exactly he was was,
Because you don’t read my posts probably.
The Word of God that was WITH God came in the flesh. He is the son of God and God created the universe through him.
Simple.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
Jesus Christ, Son of God, Word of God.
Granted he may not have had all these titles when we was the first to be with God, but it is the same person.
November 14, 2020 at 10:04 am#867477GeneBalthropParticipantProclaimer……what came into the man Jesus, was the Spirit of God, making God himself in “him” , it wasn’t a seperate inaity of “SOMEKIND”, the Father who IS God was “in” the man JESUS VIA HIS HOLY SPIRIT. God the Father was truly “IN” him.
Had you understood what I told you before, and even gave you scripture examples to back it up, you would have know Jesus was not now or ever was that (GOD) that was in him, you could have understood what Jesus meant when he said he could “do nothing” of himself, and when he said “the Father that was in him was doing the work.” It was God the Father himself who was “in” the man Jesus reconciling the world unto himself.
I tried telling you it was not Jesus who said this, destory this temple and in three days I (God the Father) shall raise “it” Jesus’ body up”. That was God himself speaking first person through the man Jesus’, mouth. He was in God and God was in him, the same way we are in HIM AND HE IS IN US ALSO. PAUL said “know you not, that your ‘Body” is the temple of the Living God? The exact thing applies to the son of man Jesus, and the prophets, and all who have the Spirit of God “in” them. There is not one ounce of difference of how it all works in all humanity, you did not know God before you were born , neither was God the Father in him until after he was baptized and recieved the HOLY SPIRIT , that’s when God the Father came into him, just as he does with Us. We are heirs and joint heirs with Jesus , just as scripture says we are.
You must come to see it was really God the Father doing all the works Jesus was doing, not Jesus as a “seperate” being OF SOMEKIND sent away from God Doing things alone and by himself. The exact same thing applies to MOSES AND ALL THE PROPHETS TOO.
God and his word are one and the same thing, GOD IS A SPIRIT, so are his words, and he does indwell his creation when ever he wants to.
Jesus, “did not preexist his birth on this earth no more the you or I did. ” you simply can not have a right relationship with Jesus or God the Father, if you do not understand that. IMO
Peaceand love to you and yours. ………gene
November 15, 2020 at 6:20 am#867487JodiParticipantTo All,
Proclaimer:
Simple.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
Jesus Christ, Son of God, Word of God.
ME:
Of course Jesus Christ came in the flesh, as Jesus of Nazareth was ANOINTED with the Spirit and THEN was SENT out into the world.
Jesus the Anointed with the Spirit not by measure thus CAME to the people IN THE FLESH having COME FROM GOD, SENT INTO THE WORLD DIRECTLY DOWN FROM HEAVEN.
John bore witness that he who had the Spirit descend upon him IS THE SON OF GOD.
Paul teaches us that Jesus is a Son of God according to prophecy, according to a promise that God made unto David concerning his son, a Son of God ACCORDING TO THE Spirit.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and JOINT-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified TOGETHER.
verse 14 Paul said, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
The Spirit came to abode upon Jesus, it was a witness to his Spirit that he was a Son of God. He was sent out into the world having God LEAD him in all his ways.
Foolishness to believe that the people beheld his glory because they believed he pre-existed as God’s Son.
People believed Jesus of Nazareth was God’s Son because they saw the glory of God’s Spirit dwelling in him.
Jesus died and when he rose from the dead he received the Holy Spirit according to a promise, we are promised that same Spirit, such is why the resurrected Jesus is called a firstborn of many brethren,
such is why we are called joint heirs with him,
such is why it is said that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God.

You
“Jesus the Anointed with the Spirit not by measure thus CAME to the people IN THE FLESH having COME FROM GOD, SENT INTO THE WORLD DIRECTLY DOWN FROM HEAVEN. ”
Me
You play the “spiritualist” Jodi
That’s not what the Bible says.
1) The divin Son if God came down from heaven to our earth.
2) He was made flesh
3) As an adult, he began his earthly ministry until the sacrifice of the cross. He was resurrected and he joined his Father in Heaven where he was before, and he began his heavenly ministry which will last until his next coming on the cloud of heaven accompanied by his holy angels.…….
November 15, 2020 at 10:26 am#867490ProclaimerParticipantAmen Berean.
We await him and he will find faith when he returns.
November 15, 2020 at 10:31 am#867491ProclaimerParticipantProclaimer……what came into the man Jesus, was the Spirit of God,
No one is arguing that the Spirit of God resides in the son and us and even a redeemed creation.
The Father is the Father of all spirits. But there was a spirit that must have been the first to be with God and must have come from God directly. I wonder who that firstborn must be? He would have to special right? I imagine that when God created the universe, that this firstborn must have been present. It is a mystery to you who that is. But God reveals his mysteries to his people because they are in the light. They are not stumbling about in the dark like the world is.
November 15, 2020 at 11:36 am#867501JodiParticipantProclaimer,
Before the world began God promised glory to mankind, He promised eternal life.
Where His Spirit is there is life because it causes righteousness.
Jesus IS the Son of Man who was exalted to God’s right hand after he had been raised from the dead receiving God’s Spirit according to a promise.
By that Spirit you are told this Son of Man is a Son of God, and that we also are HEIRS of God, where the Spirit bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.
November 15, 2020 at 11:48 am#867502JodiParticipantProclaimer,
God’s Son wasn’t made into flesh in order to save the world.
A man was begotten of the Spirit and by means of that Spirit born in him thus dwelling within, we are saved.
November 15, 2020 at 11:48 am#867503ProclaimerParticipantIn this website. Scripture reigns supreme over the opinions of mere men and woman.
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
Jodi. Who was the first to be with God?
November 15, 2020 at 11:50 am#867504ProclaimerParticipantGod’s Son wasn’t made into flesh in order to save the world.
Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
November 15, 2020 at 1:48 pm#867505JodiParticipantProclaimer,
According to prophecy, Jesus is not only the firstborn of the dead but he is the firstborn of the living.
According to prophecy, all the earth is going to be reborn, where even the animals will no longer be wild.
According to the word of God spoken by Jesus, we will follow Jesus into a NEW BIRTH.
WHEN Paul wrote to the Colossians,
Jesus was the man who had shed his blood who then had been exalted to sit at God’s right hand.
At the time Paul wrote Jesus was in heaven existing in the image of the invisible God and he was, by all accounts according to God’s promise, a firstborn overall creation (a firstborn not just of the dead but of the living, a firstborn not just of humans but unto a new heaven and earth).
Paul in Colossians isn’t speaking of two separate instances, he is speaking OF ONE instance where Jesus was MADE God’s firstborn.
According to Psalm 89 no firstborn Jesus existed yet, “I WILL MAKE him MY FIRSTBORN”.
Your interpretation of Colossians 1 couldn’t be more false.
November 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm#867506JodiParticipantJesus isn’t just the firstborn among the dead now is he Proclaimer?
The man Jesus who is God’s Son according to the Spirit was MADE a firstborn overall creation, the DEAD AND THE LIVING.
WE ARE GIVEN A REASON why he is firstborn of the dead,
“so that IN everything he might have the supremacy” (proteuo to be first, hold the first place).
Jesus doesn’t have supremacy for being the firstborn to that which God would bring TO AN END.
Jesus was raised from the dead given supremacy as the firstborn of THE ETERNAL heaven and earth.
Firstborns aren’t just first in birth but first in rank and given a greater portion of inheritance. There will be kings and lords, but Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. As firstborn of the dead such makes him a lord over his own father King David.
Come on t8, in Isaiah 53 Jesus receives a portion among the great and gets to divide the spoil with the strong, BECAUSE he poured out his soul unto death through the eternal Spirit being upon him.
Jesus receives an inheritance from God among his fellow brethren as a firstborn among them, not because he was the first thing that God had ever created.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Jesus is the divine Son of God whose origin dates back to the days of eternity.
He alone could become the SAVIOR of the world.
It was he himself who offered himself as a sacrifice for this mission.
Hebrews 10:
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
[8] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God.November 15, 2020 at 10:28 pm#867510ProclaimerParticipantJesus isn’t just the firstborn among the dead now is he Proclaimer?

Yes supremacy in everything. Firstborn of all creation. Firstborn from the dead. But you say he is NOT the first to be with God. So who was the first then??
Obviously, firstborn is the literal first born and from that privilege comes. But who was the literal first to be with God in all creation? What is his name Jodi. I know. I’ll let you have three guesses because I know you are in the dark with this one.
November 16, 2020 at 4:48 am#867514GeneBalthropParticipantProclaimer….. so according to your logic, we should believe that JOSEPH preexisted his birth with Jacob’s other childern right? because he was given the Firstborn rights which was a bouble portion in Israel. But you see he was not the actual first born of Jacob, that was “Ruben” , but the double portion firstborn , birth right, want to Joseph.
But your logic would place Joseph being alive and existing before Ruben, right? No, a being called the Firstborn , does not always mean you were “alive” before anyone else was.
Peace and love to you and yours. ……….gene
November 16, 2020 at 7:51 am#867518JodiParticipantHi Proclaimer
ME: God’s Son wasn’t made into flesh in order to save the world.
You: Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
ME:
Can you produce 1 scripture where we read that a spirit son was given the name Jesus and that this spirit son was anointed, and then this anointed spirit son with the name Jesus was sent earth and made into flesh?
NO you cannot.
Proclaimer, a HUMAN CHILD was born and given the NAME JESUS, which that name means YHVH is salvation.
NOW READ,
Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
ONE MAN IS Jesus Christ, not one spirit son is Jesus Christ.
BY ONE MAN Jesus Christ, comes the gift of grace, the forgiveness of sin.
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Jesus was anointed of the Spirit and SENT=Jesus Christ came in the flesh
By this One Man Anointed of the Spirit, who was born given the name YHVH is salvation, we are saved because of the eternal Spirit that was begotten in him.
November 16, 2020 at 7:59 am#867519BereanParticipantAs long as you deny
THE DIVINITY OF THE SON OF GOD, YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THE DEPTH OF THE LOVE OF GOD.November 16, 2020 at 8:05 am#867520ProclaimerParticipantbecause he was given the Firstborn rights which was a bouble portion in Israel.
The way you have constructed this sentence, it would be obvious that he was not the firstborn of all creation.
