Kerwin.
The human body consist of flesh;and the breath of life, that makes us a living soul.Without the breath of life it is just flesh.
And without God that soul is empty and it will die.The flesh and the breath of life makes the living soul.
And every living soul has his own works as a person living;and it is the works that is preserved when a person dies, for the judgement.Jesus own words: –for we will be as the angels in heaven.–
The angels dont have any flesh on them, unles you are tuaght so by some doctrine.
But angels (spirit body) can materialise; make themselves flesh at will if God let.
What was the pillar of cloud that went before Moses?
There is no such as enlivened flesh,in scripture. But quickened, just as jesus was quickened.
wakeup.

Mike;Jesus explicitly stated time would be cut short in order that flesh would be saved. It is clear that flesh will remain after time is cut short and the elect inherit the kingdom.
You seem to believe “flesh” is an idiom for living. The New American Standard Bible takes that point of view; just as it holds that flesh in blood is an idiom for mortal body.
I do not know where the earlier hypothesized idiom comes from.

why is it that man does not have a destiny ,but should work toward God
but NOT SO with Christ he is predestine to come and been send from the father to earth (in the world ) so save men of his condition of sin,Christ was born only from one source of flesh a women (surrogate mother ) the other source came from the power of God his father ,because Christ was not a man but a spirit being ,to be lowered down to become a man,or as a man ,to save all men, (no man no matter how righteous he be could save another man from the sin of Adam) so God provided his own son to become like a man and pay the ransom for men to be freed of the sin of Adam and so would be able to reconcile himself with his God and creator ,(this was a great act of LOVE from God to men and so few accepted it )Christ was ,his a perfect SOUL,a total being did not need flesh in any way ,but took the cover of flesh to fulfill the will of his father to save men.
now if their would be flesh in heaven ,why would Christ take off that flesh to put on another like flesh ,????this does not make sens ,out side of earth there is no flesh ,the nature of our universe will easy tell you that ,

Scripture does not testify angels materialize; instead they are seen to appear when a person’s eyes are opened to their presence.
Scripture does not testify spiritual beings materialize flesh and bone bodies; although it does demonstrate at least some angels have material bodies when they appear.
By your own words the angels have flesh on them when they appear. Your hypothesis that angels materialize fails when tested by Scripture as Balaam’s eyes were opened and the angel appeared; while the ass saw the angel there before and strove to avoid him.
The closest to Scriptural evidence about angels being spirits is when the creatures of the spirit realm are gathered before throne and one volunteers to become a lying spirit in the mouths of the king of Israel’s 400 prophets, 1 Kings 22 and 2 Chronicles 18. The creature of the spirit realm that simultaneously possessed 400 people is clearly a demon; as the angels of God do not tempt men to prophesize falsely; or to sin in any other way.
Exodus 14:19
King James Version (KJV)19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
The angel and the pillar are separate as the pillar moved independently of the angel.
When you state that there is no enlivened flesh while acknowledging that a person’s mortal body is quickened as Jesus’ has been; I roll my eyes as enlivened means quickened. Scripture clearly testifies Jesus has been resurrected in a flesh and bone body.

Quote Kerwin. A spirit body is spirit Like God is spirit: there is not abit of flesh in God.
We will be the children of God; we also will have a spirit body, with no flesh whatsoever.wakeup.
I agree that the soul without the body is composed of spirit; but it also is a ghost; naked of its dwelling place. A fleshless soul has a spirit body of a sort as it has form; but never the less it has not been resurrected.
There is no teaching of a spirit body in Scripture. There is both the teaching of a Spiritual man; who lives by the Spirit and the Spiritual body; which is quickened by the Spirit.

NickJesus revealed his flesh and bone body that is quickened by the Spirit to his students; and they bear witness to it. The Spirit quickened body is the Spiritual body while the blood quickened body is the natural body; as blood is part of the flesh.

Wakeup;Jesus ate and was touched to reveal that he was not a spirit; but is flesh and bone.
Angels have also been touched and eaten and thus reveal themselves to be material creatures. They also appear to be flesh and bone.

Wakeup;God cursed Adam, saying among other things that his flesh would return to the earth. That is not the way it was in the beginning.
Scripture does not declare that either Jesus or his brothers will be created beings of spirit; that is just a Gnostic teaching that conceals itself in misinterpretation of certain Scriptures.
Jesus is the Son of Jehovah's Spirit; just as his brothers are adopted by the same Spirit.
It is that Spirit that gave Adam and his descendants longer lives; despite their sin corrupted flesh; until that God declared it would no longer struggle with it.
As the kingdom was before Adam sinned; so shall it be again.

Nick;It is the norm from everything I have read in Scripture though there may be some exceptions.
Angels are not the focus of Scripture and so the evidence is limited.

Nick;God exalted his creation by calling it “very good”;
Genesis 1:31
King James Version (KJV)31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
