    You did not show any scriptures ,because there are any that support your faulty doctrines

    T;

    I revealed no Scripture as you should know the ones I am speaking of as you heard them often.  Do you not listen what your ears hear and observe what your eyes see?

    Matthew 5:6 is the promise which is by fulfilled by putting on the new man as taught in Ephesians 4:24 and received when immersed as Romans 6:6 instructs.

    Nick;

    Haven't you read Matthew 5:6 and John 8:34-36 as they are clear promises of a righteousness and holiness that is like God's?

    Nick………..Kerwin may have been referring to this.

    1 John 2:5-6…….> But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God “PERFECTED” : hereby (or this is how) know we that we are (IN) Him . VERSE 6…> He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

    Nick;

    So according to you filling those that hunger and thirst for righteousness is not to create a new man that is like Jehovah in true righteousness and holiness for them.

    I tell you the truth that when I hunger and thirst for food in drink it is food and drink that fills that hunger and thirst.  Are you different?

    So according to you one can still sin and be truly set free from sin even though Jesus clearly states anyone that sins is a servant to sin and that he sets believers truly free from such servitude.

    I tell you that I am not free until I no longer serve sin but instead serve righteousness.

    “The gift by grace” that comes through Jesus Christ is the gift of the Holy Spirit; even as Peter and John the Baptist testified.

    A person receives and lives by the Spirit by God's grace.  In so doing they are filled with the righteousness and holiness they crave.

    “The gift by grace” that comes through Jesus Christ is the gift of the Holy Spirit

    this is false ;

    Ro 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
    2Co 1:5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
    2Co 3:4 Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God.
    2Co 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
    Gal 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus,

    so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

    so ;;1Co 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
    Gal 1:4 who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
    Col 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

    1Jn 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

    so again scriptures disagree with your view ,and deductions of your studies ,NO MAN CAN SEE THE TRUTH UNLESS THEY HAVE LEARNED TO KNOW GOD ,,but to know God you have to let God come to you ,but if you want God to come to you ,you have to be ready to receive him ,in the honor he deserve,this mean NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO GIVE HIM,

    Mt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.

    Isa 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty,
    come to the waters;
    and you who have no money,
    come, buy and eat!
    Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without cost.
    Isa 55:2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
    and your labor on what does not satisfy?
    Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
    and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

    Eph 4:22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
    Eph 4:23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
    Eph 4:24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

    it is the true teachings of the apostles that transformed the way and by doing so they now `put on the NEW self“

    Ro 6:2 By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
    Ro 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
    Ro 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
    Ro 6:5 If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
    Ro 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—

    this confirms what it is said in the previous quoted scriptures,

    it seems you have a lack of true scripture knowledge ,this is what happen when we do not read the context and be satisfies with bits and croms from the bread of live ,

    so your teachings are to be question on truth and not taken as truth

    (scripture please.)(Is this in the new testament?).

    Compare Jesus ascension to heaven; and his coming,rev19.

    wakeup.

    It is a paraphrase of what is taught in 1 John 4 applied to John 4:24 because love is a spirit.

    1 John 4:8
    King James Version (KJV)

    8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

    And

    1 John 4:16
    King James Version (KJV)

    16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

    And

    1 John 4:7
    King James Version (KJV)

    7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

    We were discussing gender in the World To Come and it is written that God created mankind with some being male and others being female in gender.  So it was before the fall.  We also know God created females as help mates for male before the fall.   A third fact we know is that Jesus is still being referred as a male.  Put together that all seems to reveal that gender will exist in the World To Come.

    Kerwin.

    Is your God male or female? Since you say Jesus is male.
    is michael the arch angel male or female?
    Are there any female angels,if you can show scripture?

    Is Jesus( the son of God) lower than the angels;being made flesh and bone?
    Are the angels superior in existence being made spirit creatures?

    If you can just answer me these simple questions,instead of quoting scripture after scripture.

    wakeup.

    Wakeup;

    Jehovah is referred to as a male but gender is a created thing and he was not created.

    Michael is a male’s name and he is called a prince and referred to by the male pronoun.

    There are different kinds of angels; just as there are different kinds of mammals.   God chooses the genders of each type of angel.  In appearance human-like angels are generally males; but there is a prophetic account of winged women in Zechariah 5:9.

    Angels serve in the court of God; humans; with possibly a relatively few exceptions; do not.

    T;

    The new man is the man walks by the Spirit and so manifests the fruit of the Spirit; which is a holiness and righteousness that is like God's. An individual only receives the Spirit as a gift from God and lives by it through faith that Jesus is Lord; and so believes all he teaches. God's grace is to give the Spirit without measure.

    It is not by the useless striving of men.
    All we can do once reborn into Christ is to submit to revelation and to seek grace.

    Paul could not wait to shed the body of sin[rom7] but you want to somehow perfect yourself?

    can you walk in the spirit of Christ if you do not know who he his ,what he his,why you should believe in him,what it is in there for you if you do believe in him ????????????

    and can you as a gentile walk in the spirit if you do not stop to walk in the flesh ????

    and how long does it take for a gentile to learn his new faith ???

    how long does it take to comply and understand the will of Gods spirit rules ????

    and hundred more questions to be ask and answer,

    the holy spirit for gentiles is acquired and gain by doing righteous deeds and then it still a gift at Gods discretion

    and the first call was for the first pen the 144k,the only redeemed from the earth,

    but all that are called and accept Gods will have to become holy and produce righteous deeds

    and above all presenting the word of God in truth ,this I would call the first righteous deed of all ,failing to do that you are failing in all

    Nick;

    Paul is speaking of his situation under the Law; which was prior to the time he was reborn in Christ.  As any man that is enslaved to sin and desires to be free; he is thankful to Jesus for deliverance; that is why it is written:

    Romans 7
    King James Version (KJV)

    23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
    24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
    25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

    The World tells us we must sin but God tells us all things are possible through faith in him if you choose to believe that he can make you a new man created like him in true holiness and righteousness.
