TO ALL,
In Isaiah 42:8 God said that He will not give His glory or His praise to another. This statement is used by simpletons who think it proves that Jesus is not God. But the context indicates that God was speaking about not giving His glory or His praise to carved images.
Quote I am the LORD, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
Jesus is not a carved image but is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) and also the “express image” of His person (Hebrews 1:3). As the “express image” of God's person Jesus IS God's glory and praise!KJ

Of course we simpletons know that Jesus didn't take the credit for what God has done, even though he is the image of God. And we know that if the woman is the glory of the man, then she is also not the man that she is the glory of.
However, because the scripture is used by Trinitarians as a proof verse, then I guess they must really be the simpletons you refer to. - AuthorPosts
