Jesus was killed.He died that he might inherit the promise of eternal life in God's Spirit.
We follow him through repentance and water and spirit baptism.[Rom6. jn3]Hmm! Jesus is dead? I wouldn't think a person could believe any part of the New Testament of God without believing that Jesus laid down his life so as to prove that you can pick it up again. He proved that one could not only come back Spiritually without a body but He showed that one could come back in various physical bodies. One that could walk through walls and one very dense manifestation that even Thomas could touch and see the scars of his murder.(he was innocent so the Jews murdered Jesus the son of God or had him murdered) I choose to believe that Jesus is alive and waiting for us to continue his ministry and show non-believers the Truth.IMO, TK

Yes he died and gave up his spirit.
But The abiding Spirit was yet in him as it is in all the living such as Abraham and Isaac and Jacob.You do need to grasp this because this is your hope too if you are following him.
