“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded
(1)for the witness of Jesus, and (2)for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither
had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Rev 20:4 )God bless

Is the witness of Jesus and the witness of Christ two separate witnesses to you?

Hi Nick,I know you want Scripture to fit your understanding, but it clearly does not fit the facts.
In islam you are executed for witnessing about Jesus and for witnessing about the bible.
You are NOT executed for speaking about God's anointing, did you not know that or no?God bless

You promised to lay out your ideas. You might pick up more if you read mine again as cooking cabbages twice seems unnecessary
Or ask questions.June 4, 2014 at 7:55 am#386881Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
What cabbage? No-one is beheaded for saying Jesus is the Christ.
(1)for the witness of Jesus witnessing about Jesus
(2)for the word of God witnessing for the bible.God bless

No.Jesus is the Son of God and Mary born in Bethlehem.
He was anointed by God at the jordan with the Holy Spirit and power.June 4, 2014 at 9:24 am#386895NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Now that he is one with the Father in The Spirit the wording does change.Acts 3 speaks of the sending of the Spirit as the sending of Jesus.
And of course “Now the Lord is the Spirit.”helps the saved learn that the promise of Jesus that he will not leave them orphaned can be realised when they learn to recognise his voice in the Spirit.
