The first aspect of the Spirit we are given is the Spirit of Christ.
Acts 3.20“And He shall send you Jesus Christ..”
The Spirit of Christ , sent by the Father, teaches us and reminds us of the words of the Saviour[Jn 14.20]
It is Jesus who asks the Father to send us the Spirit of Truth.[Jn 14.16-17]
But all in the ONE Holy Spirit.
By the same Holy Spirit we can be taken into the understanding of God[1Cor 2]

2Jn9June 2, 2014 at 3:00 am#386260NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
2Jn
3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
