Ed JBod, the Catholic Faith is the Trinity Doctrine. Not all hold to that doctrine. And even of those who supposedly do, most do not understand it and hardly think about it. But those who teach it are false teachers or in the least, teaching falsely.
What all false religions do is change the foundation, the gospel, and even the times so that men cannot tell the season they are in.
The Roman Catholic Church changed the times to the Gregorian Calendar and away from the feasts, changed the Sabbath for Sunday (the Sun God day) and gave us Easter and Christmas. They also preach a different foundation other than the foundation that Jesus built his Church upon. In short they became their own Church of which we reject.
What Islam did was similar. Instead of the Sun God, they possibly have the Noon God, and we also have a different foundation to the one that Christ proclaimed he would build his Church upon.
We reject all forms of false religion and question all things to lessen our chances of being deceived in this evil world.
Islam, Catholicism, Mormonism, and many are isms and schisms we reject. We do not want to participate in Babylon in any way if we can help it.
Islam is not an ism and Christianity is a Vast array of beliefs even you have no idea of it’s original teachings because if you did there would be no dispute and you would be able to easily prove these teachings to others but Islam is Clear and is in total harmony with a straight line from Judaism through Christianity to Islam where a person learns there is no trinity straight out, Jesus is not God straight out, God has no partners straight out, Jesus was a Spirit that proceeded from God and a Word from Him straight out. Many of those simple facts have taken some Christians their entire lives to comprehend and some or better yet most still believe those incorrect teachings.
As far as God not having a son and the crucifixion 2 points: The bible itself differs on the facts even time and day but the Quran does report a cricifixion took place and the Quran does note the massive usage of the term “son” that the Jews and the Christians use and points out that you both feel like the children of God and yet you are all punished the same so how can you be His children?

The quran is the book that is in error not the bible.It says that it confirms what came before it, meaning the Gospel and the Torah,
but it actually contradicts both – PROVING (on that one point alone) ‘IT’ IS IN ERROR.____________

Yes the Torah, Gospel and also the psalms but the Gospel it is referring to is the Gospel Jesus preached which is The Gospel of The Kingdom of God
Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.Matthew 24:14
And- this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations
; and then shall the end come.
Now if you notice the Gospel of the Kingdom is not preached by Christians because they preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is not the same as Jesus preached so the end will come when The Gospel of The Kingdom is restored which it is in Islam. Also notice The Gospel of the Kingdom of God is not based upon sacrifice crucifixion or resurrection those things are worldly.

The Body of Christ is the Church whose foundation is built on the truth that Jesus is the son of God and the messiah.
While you have to deny his sonship to respect the prophet and book you follow, you deny yourself the chance to stand on that unshakeable foundation.
While people can stand on that foundation and build works that will not crumble, it is also true that men who stand on that foundation can still be led astray at times. So rather than worry about others who may or may not be led astray in certain ways, why not be concerned for yourself by denying the foundation of Yeshua’s Church thereby rejecting it and even opposing it.
