So the people that “sarificed” jesus di it out of love and obedience to God?

    Hi BD,

No, they didn't know what they were doing.

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

    Ed

So you point out two things.

    1. Jesus is asking forgiveness for these people although you believe it is the greatest thing ever

    2. The people are not offering him up to God as a sarifice but condemning him to death.

How is it you do not consider a crucifixion f an innocent man an act of MURDER?

Jesus was “Martyred” – not murdered.
Do you even know the difference?

Murder is what islamic suicide bombers do,
they are NOT martyr's – but murderers!

So the people did not murder Jesus?

Did the people offer up a sacrifice to God?

    Leviticus 22:24

    King James Version (KJV)

24 Ye shall not offer unto the Lord that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

Was Jesus bruised or Cut before being sacrificed “martyred”

Oh yea! You believe this right?

    Isaiah 52:14
As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

    Leviticus 7:15-18

    King James Version (KJV)

15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

16 But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

    Hi BD,

Jesus found to be unblemished by Pilot's words in John 19:4:
“that ye may know that I find no fault in him.” (John 19:4)

So Jesus was a lamb without blemish.

God did not tell Cain and Abel to sacrifice;but it is their own will to show respect. But cains sacrifice was not clean, therefore rejected.

In Leviticus 1:1–**IF** ANY MAN OF YOU BRING AN OFFERING TO THE LORD**

As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

God does not condone HUMAN SACRIFICE nor did it ever come to his mind

    Jeremiah 19:5
they have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:

Now do you believe that Go just didn't want them offering their children to Baal? Would he have wanted them to offer their children to HIM?

    Does God accept HUMAN SACRIFICE?

What's more important does God need anything?

    Psalm 50:1
The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

    Great words of psalms.

God does not need anything this is true.

But he gave us his Son ;showing his great love for us.
Can we question God, and say *what for*
can we say; we dont need your gift,we can do without.
We can praise You God,and pray to you.
But God says that all our works are as dirty raggs before him? So what now?

    Without Jesus sacrifice;he would be just a story,and soon forgotten by the world. Where would we be in our relationship with God then? Without the new testament;
how can we know how to worship God;since our sacrifices are like dirty raggs before God.

So what road should we take to come to God?
All our works are unclean in Gods sight.
We are lost; all of us are of no hope.

But Jesus was a gift from God to us; now we can come to God,not by our works, but by just accepting his sacrifice,
and follow his teachings. And God will have *mercy*, and sanctify our works, and make it clean.

God does not need us;he can make the stones glorify him.
It is the most important that we accept Gods gift.

    Hi BD,

No, they didn't know what they were doing.

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

So you point out two things.

    1. Jesus is asking forgiveness for these people although you believe it is the greatest thing ever

    2. The people are not offering him up to God as a sarifice but condemning him to death.

How is it you do not consider a crucifixion f an innocent man an act of MURDER?

17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

What you are saying is, that God provided an unclean sacrifice.

This; in it self, is blasphemy against the God,that you suppose to worship.

God did not tell Cain and Abel to sacrifice;but it is their own will to show respect. But cains sacrifice was not clean, therefore rejected.

It was Gods own will that his Son be hanged on a cross;die and resurrected,so we can see, how we also will be resurrected, if we follow God as his Son did.
So our worship is not in vain.

We now can see the great reward for worshipping God.
It is worthed to sacrifice our selves, by not following the spirit of this world; but of God.

Isaiah 64:7

    Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name,
that stirreth up himself to take hold
    of thee:
for thou hast hid thy face from us,
and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

When you do not praise God your works are as filthy rags

But when you do praise God

    Ecclesiastes 9:7
Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

    Boditharta.

All our praises are like filthy raggs before God.
Or God would not need to have his son killed.
We can not do without him.

Without his sacifice the world would not know him,
he would be soon just history.
And his teachings would be just as some other wise mans teachings.

psalms 31 is also about Jesus.

    wakeup.
