1 Samuel 10:6
1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
Which covenant do you believe he was under?
Kyes Saul was changed ,,but he could not keep the change so he lost it ,
many received the seed of truth but how many can really keep it

Kand we know how he changed to his old self later right
T,He chose wickedness though he was inconsistent in it.
The question I asked what what covenant was he under when the Spirit came on him and he told prophecy?
March 4, 2014 at 3:22 am#372349NickHassanParticipantHi T,
You are right that it is repentance that God wants.
The meaning of baptism is in 1 PeterMarch 4, 2014 at 3:41 am#372352terrariccaParticipantNick
Baptism mean submerged but in water makes you wet ,but in the scriptures what is the word of God will bring you live,
Now submerge our selves into God,s knowledge will make us righteous ,holy, faithful ,truthful, and bring us to be born of the spirit what is fund in scriptures ,and please God by applying what he as given us ,
Is this not what those Jews in Act 2 at Pentecost had and so receive the Holy Spirit wen they were baptized ,only Jews were part of the covenant of God ,so they ad to repent ,but the 3000 Jews ad a repented heart, after they heard Peter talk,
Gentiles did not know Jehovah like the Jews knew him so they had to learn immerge themselves into the study of his word, and accept the covenant of life ofert to them, through the blood of Christ,
And Paul explain this in Gal: about to follow the fruits of the spirit rather than the flesh .March 4, 2014 at 3:47 am#372354NickHassanParticipantHi T,
Are you saying water baptism was only for the Jews?Feeding on the Word is vital but SEEK YE ” FIRST” THE KINGDOM.[mat 6]
ALL must repent [lk 13.5]
ALL must go through the GATE [Mt 7.13]

March 4, 2014 at 6:02 am#372381NickHassanParticipantHi T,
What relevance would that have?
In Christ there is no difference between Jew and Gentile - AuthorPosts
