Shouldn’t the Bible make SENSE to human beings? After all, doesn’t it exist for the benefit of human beings?
So how much sense does it make for our ONE and ONLY Almighty God to have been WITH our ONE and ONLY Almighty God in the beginning? None.
How much sense does it make for the Word OF God to also BE the very God he is the Word OF? None.
And for that matter, how much sense does it make for the Son, Priest, Prophet, Anointed one, Servant, and Sacrificial Lamb OF God to actually BE the very ONE and ONLY God he is all these things OF? None.
The Bible should make sense to HUMAN BEINGS, David……. for it exists to benefit HUMAN BEINGS[/B].
And that stuff I just listed doesn’t make a lick of sense to human beings. You know that as well as I do – which is why you discourage us from using our God-given logic.

The true God is the creator of all things.

God’s Word walked on earth in flesh form. His teachings we should follow.I and my Father are one;I and my Father equals two,not three.
I=The Word of God made flesh; My father=God; Both have the one spirit.
We can have that same spirit and become one with God,but we are many with that same spirit.That spirit is contained in every Word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.Every word that Jesus spoke came out

The Word of God speaks to us through the Holy bible also.
Only to them that hears.No one can come to the Father but by me.

Only HE can change the spirit of men,which is the lusts of the flesh tempted daily by the god of this world.

Men always try to solve the spiritual and the physical using human comonsense.
God sends his image down to mingle with men.
His image in the form of the flesh.He was spirit before,invisible to men.
Humans can not see God,for he is a Spirit,and no flesh can see, nor can

The Holy Spirit was also send down by God in the image of a dove,so John could see.
Can you understand? When God says to Moses; I AM THAT I AM,this means that he can be anything He wants.
It is not hard for God to give His living Word a form;any form.
He was in the form of a tree of life in the garden,and in the form of a rock flowing with fresh water. And also in the form of a man,called Melchisedec. Not born,but translated from spirit to flesh.
God can even make stones to glorify Him.

Baptism with water is a symbolic tradition.
The water represents the Holy Spirit.Imbued with the HS.
The apostles were baptised with water,but received the Hs later.
To receive the HS means that the human eyes are opened to undestand the spiritual teachings of Christ.
Many are baptised with water,but not with the Holy Spirit.
The proof is in the pudding,all are still in confusion.
There are many opposing doctrines,but there is only one HS.
How come? Why is that so?
Dont forbid to be baptised with water,performed by men.
Only Jesus can baptise with the HS.
Dont be fooled by preachers teaching smooth words,to tickle the ears.
Ask Jesus For you to be baptised in the HS,so you can see and understand all things of God.wakeup.

All the baptisms recorded in the New Testament are in the name of Jesus. None are recorded as being in the name of a trinity. There is no confusion in scripture. Test all things and hold fast to what is good.
I sought baptism in the name of Jesus 40 years ago having read the Bible and learned from it that it was necessary. At the time my wife chose not to but she said that she would one day. She became sick 18months ago and I asked her again.
She said she was baptised as a baby and could not understand why it was necessary but she agreed. A week after being baptised and having hands laid on her to receive the promised Spirit I asked her what difference she had noticed and she said she felt much calmer.
She was diagnosed with terminal oesophageal cancer but told her friends and family that she had no fear of death and that God had given us a wonderful peace. To sit and hold her hand was to sense something akin to electricity flowing through her. She absolutely glowed with peace.
The illness was mercifully short and she passed over from death to eternal life with a wonderful smile.
She walked by faith and not by sight and God was faithful. Obedience to scripture is rewarded.
If you have been wrongly baptised then do it right.
Time is short folks and you do not want to die in your sins.
Paul rebaptised those who needed it in Acts 19.
Nick…… Sorry to hear of your wife’s passing, But what’s interesting, I was baptized twice, when I turned 21 years old I went to a Baptist church because I could not overcome my sins, and thought that if I had the help of the Spirit of God I could overcome them, I knew I needed help, So I was baptized believing I would receive power from on high to overcome my sins, . But when I came out of that baptism I didn’t receive any power, nor felt any difference at all, so that very day I left that church and never returned . About ten years latter , I was invited to attend another Church and was ask to be baptized again , so I was, and the Minister and Elder laid their hands on me and prayed over me, and I felt the Holy Sprit come into me. That was around 52 years ago. I have had hundreds of answered prayers and many miracles take place in my life ever sense. And I have learned the more we become like Jesus Christ in our relationship with God the Father, in this world, the better our lives become.

So if you are known by the Father by rebirth of Water you can ask Him to baptise you in the Spirit and He will.
You must be born again!
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Now read the following:
John 7:37-39 — Jesus declares that the Spirit will become like a river flowing out of a person.
John 3:1-8 — Jesus teaches Nicodemus about the new birth.Baptism in water is a public declaration before men and you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
But some already had the Spirit, and were baptized in water later on.
Conclusion: being born of the Spirit is what transforms us.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received a spirit of adoption, through which we cry, “Abba,* Father!”
If you are water baptized and then go on a murderous spree and commit other sins without repentance, are you saved? Or is being led by the Spirit of God proof of your salvation?
Be honest with yourself.
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is simple obedience to God.
It is a plea to God for a clean conscience as 1 Peter 3 tells us.
Those who were baptised in the Spirit first in Acts 10 were immediately baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.

Baptism in water may be a public declaration before men if they are present.
It is a plea to God for forgiveness so He is involved.
But as Acts 8 and the incident with the Magician Simon shows it is not just an ordinance as The Spirit in Peter identified the wrong motives of this man.
Those who had been water baptised in the name of Jesus did not receive the Spirit as well at the same time.

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for He had not yet fallen upon any of them: they had simply been baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus. Nick…..I was baptized once and did not receive the Holy Spirit, I was baptized again ten years later and when the elders lied their hands on me and prayed over me, I then received the gift of the, Holy Spirit, and great peace came over me. What you said is true, a person can be baptized in the name of Jesus, and still not have received the “Holy Spirit”, the great teacher of “ALL” THINGS.

Yes, the new birth is what makes us a new creation.
If salvation was through water baptism, then anyone could do it and then continue to sin and some have indeed done this. But such were either not born again or they fell away.
Water baptism is obedience to God and a public declaration of your faith. It is at this point that you can receive the Holy Spirit which not only gives us the new birth, but works with us throughout our life to transform us.
